Staff Auditions!

With Fawnzie being gone, I need a few extra hands around here to help me with things like checking bio's and accepting/declining them, so I've decided to hold an audition for these two positions:


Co-Admin:

-- The co-admin should be active, thoughtful, and experienced. When I'm gone, I'd appreicate it if someone would watch the site during that time, and make sure no trolls have spammed the c-box and that members are behaving like they should. The co-admin should also be someone who's literate, and has the roleplaying experience to know how to run things during a certain amount of time.

Moderator:

-- The moderator should be fairly active, and considerate. Usually, the moderator will be accepting bio's and from time to time, updating the allegiances. For this position, I need someone who I can trust and someone who is familiar with my opinion on character bio's, for example, they need to understand the way I review bio's and which names I'd prefer, ect.

Why You Should Choose Me: I have plenty of experience building and running sites, I can make skins, graphics, and I'm great with codes. I love giving advice for anything, I don't mind doing mod grunt work like the taken names list and updating the listings, I do things to help as just as regular member and will still do so even if I don't picked. I sign on everyday and If I can do things I try even if it means just answer questions or trying to calm a rather angry member down xD I am outgoing and extremely friendly. I know what to look for in bios, I'm extremely picky myself :3 and I know what names would be accepted and what wouldn't.

Personality traits that I think would make me a good staff member is that I'm very outgoing, fun to be around, most members on other sites find me reliable when it comes to answering questions, I can point them to people if i don't know the answer, I have a good sense of humor and can lighten the place up when things are stressed, I also know when it's time to work or play time. Such as organizing the clan lists, taken names and bios, or when to actually sit down goof off and roleplay.

Why you should choose me?
Well I'm basically on everyday and I do have experience with sites cause I had 3 of my own. I know the rules and plus I love this site. Plus I'm good at giving advice to people. I'm a good listener. I can help with the boards and stuff. I know what names to look for in the bio's and how long they should be.

Why You Should Choose Me:

Well, first off: I always tell you if I may be slightly inactive, even if that means I will still be on. Either way I am on everyday even if I don't post. My posts average about 200-300 words, though I do sometimes have them shorter than I like. I own my own site, and am in the process of making a new one, so I know how to maneuver a site and how to treat members. I'm an active plotter, and I talk to everyone. I'm always good about giving advice and listening to everyone and most of the time I'm trying to make everyone smile.

I know and understand how you prefer bios done and if I have a questions I just ask you. If you give me this chance, I'll perform my duties to my up most ability, and if you decide not to- no hard feelings. :]

9 (I'm becoming more active, and, even though I can't be on forever, I always logon to TFd whenever I get my hands on a keyboard. I post often and try to keep my characters active.)

Why You Should Choose Me:

I'm advanced at coding and graphics. I can help you design skins and code a variety of looks for the site. I also know a few people who can help me if I don't know how to help. I'm helpful, resourceful and know the site like the back of my hand, so I'd be a valuable contributor when it comes to showing guests around or persuading them to join. I am an avid advertiser because I make sure to advertise on every site I've seen/been on. I also know quite a bit about genetics and cats in general, so I'd help on making TFD's charries realistic and genetically possible. I personally consider myself an in depth bio mod, and I like to be specific, so I'm not sure if you'd like that job for me cuz sometimes people get annoyed at how in depth I am. Last but not least, I'm creative and am always coming up with new and wonderful ideas that I'd happily use on this site.

I know I'm not the most active member here, but I'm trying to improve and get posting up. I've been cutting back on role-plays lately and I feel bad for not being very active here. I've also been here for awhile (I was one of the first ten members) and know the site like the back of my hand. I'd do whatever I could to keep TFD up and running, with new plots and members rolling in all the time.

Why You Should Choose Me:

---- I may not have the experience when it comes to graphics and whatnot, but I’m always willing to learn. I’ve always wanted to learn, just never given the opportunity. I know I’m young and probably not nearly as experienced as the others, but I do know I will give it my all. I’ve been on here for quite some time now, and I know my way around the site. I come up with many plot ideas and contribute to helping others come up with character ideas when I can. I know exactly what you are looking for when it comes to the naming system, and how to help guide others when it comes to naming cats. I believe I am quite literate, and come up with decent sized posts; I always try to make them at least 250 words. I am constantly pushing myself to become a better writer and gain more and more experience. So all in all, I pretty much know the site and what you are looking for. I’ve been on for quite some time and learn by doing. If given the chance, I will work as hard as necessary and probably push myself even more. Thank you for the consideration and reading this.

This past week I kind of dropped to an 8 or so. I did come on and check every night, but I never really had a good chance to reply. In the past it was 10, and in the future, I plan a 10

Why You Should Choose Me:

Honestly, anyone here deserves to be a staff member, especially those that were here longer than me. But I really try to be as active and helpful, and friendly, as possible. In the past, I've helped out on a lot of proboards sites, and thought they never really lasted longer than a year or two, the sites seemed pretty amazing. This one, in itself, has blown every other site I've been on out of the water.

Now, I'm not all that techy in graphics and skins, but I know a little bit of basic coding, but I'm not real sure on how far that will go. Truthfully, I don't really expect to get a staff position, and I'm fine with that. I enjoy being a member of this site, and I enjoy roleplaying with those that I have, and I hope to roleplay with those that I haven't. In the character name department, it's pretty self-explanatory. Ridiculous names are unaccepted, and not ridiculous names are. Plain and simple.

I'm not going to keep boring you with a massive post saying every single thing I've done on a site in the past, so I'll just sum it up:

Why You Should Choose Me: I believe you should choose me because

• I am very literate. Meaning I am quite descriptive, and make minimal mistakes in my posts. I am very punctual as well, a severe grammar freak, and quite expansive vocabulary wise.
  
  
• I am very fun to be around (or so I am told), and I guess it's because I'm so random? (I don't know why anyone would EVER think that...) and very kind and helpful. But despite my quirkiness, I know when it is time to be serious and stop fooling around.
  
  
• I try to be on as much as I can. I will do my best to log in at least once a day, but every other day if not every day. I do not promise posts everyday, as I do have homework and I am in the midst of moving right now, and my computer monitor is being especially strange, but like I said I will make the effort to be as active as I can. There will never be a time when I wont tell you that I am leaving for any reason.
  
  
• I do know codes very well, and I also do graphics. I LOOOVE graphics, and I LOOOVE finding new codes and testing them out. It is something I do enjoy.
  
  
• I have experience. I have only roleplayed on proboards for three years, but I have a lot of experience. The first site I was ever a Global Moderator on was a Warriors site, but it was closed down because the creator lost interest. I was also GM on a deer roleplay, a wolf roleplay, I own my own wolf roleplay and two Warrior sites, and I know how you do things around here quite well I think.
  
  
• I am a good advice- giver and listener. I love to give advice, and I love to listen, and I feel that I am very good at doing both. I feel it is important that I bond with members, (whether I am satff or not), because we all need someone we can trust and who will give us genuine answers and opinions. This ties into trustworthiness; which I am very trustworthy and responsible, and know how to handle tough situations.
  
  
• Lastly, I am very willing to learn new things, old things, whatever. I love to be in the know and have all the answers, even though I can never have ALL of them. Learning, to me, is a privilege which most people take advantage of.
