The snow white apprentice looked up to see Cloudwing stading next to her. He's okay, that's all I care about she thought. Then one paw moved and then the other. Seeing that she started moving she smiled. When she got out of camp she looked back to see if Cloudwing was behind her. Cloudwing. I'm glad your safe! She said and nuzzled him. She thought he was gone.

Fangshatter looked around, seeing that most of the clan made it out of camp. But his mind was racing, he was worried for Brindlestar. He had to do what she said.

All that was on Creampaw’s mind was her sibling. How could she think of anything else? Her mother had been so kind and wonderful to her when she was in ThunderClan, but her sister had been her everything. Her paws were aching with the longing to go and make sure they would be okay. They just had to be. She stopped in her tracks when she heard Brindlestar. Her eyes softened as she listened to the leader. She really wanted to listen to Brindlestar, and normally she would, but this was family. She shook her head and muttered, ”I’m sorry, I can’t do that. You have plenty of cats to help and I’m not needed. This is something I have to do.”
Turning to Whitefrost she didn’t like to disrespect him or say much, but this was her family. Rules were meant to be broken. Her parents had broken them, so why should she follow them? ”I NEED to make sure they are okay. I can’t function without knowing it. I’m going with or without you.” Making up her mind, then and there she was about to put something above her clan…her family. She shook off his tail, not wanting to get close to another cat. She couldn’t feel anything right now, she needed to find them. Taking off, the apprentice took one glance back and then made her way toward ThunderClan. She didn’t know what she was about to find, but she was thankful she was good at swimming. If it was as bad as everyone was saying, she needed to be a strong swimmer to find her family.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

--whiteFROST As Creampaw defied their leader's orders, Whitefrost couldn't keep his eyes off of her. As she turned to him and said she was going with or without him, he had made up his mind. He wasn't going to let her wander into enemy territory without him. Casting a desperate glance at his clan, and no longer caring about the trouble he could get into. Tearing off after his apprentice, he felt his fur bristling in alarm. As he caught up to her, he looked down at the river and back at her and mewed, "Let's go." --brindleSTAR Turning to look her clan, she snapped impatiently, "I said, get out! Go. Now." Turning her pale green eyes back to where Creampaw and Whitefrost had just stood she felt her claws automatically unsheathe once she realized that they were gone. Never mind them, she would deal with them later. Turning to her clanmates, she realized that her apprentice Reedpaw wasn't out there. Reedpaw. Her blood ran cold. He was deathly terrified of water, how would they ever get the apprentice out of their flooded camp! --briarMOON The grey she-cat blinked blue eyes and sighed dramatically as she helped usher an elder of the camp. She was loosing her home, her clan was loosing there home. RiverClan had been the greatest clan in the forest and now in the breath of a night they were being reduced into nothing but rubble. Speaking for the first time that night, the she-cat mummered, "Great StarClan, help us."

Thistlefire was soaked to the skin, but that didn't slow him down. He was out of the warrior den at the first sound of urgency in his leader's voice, being the light sleeper that he was. Without even stopping to really think about what he was happening, he had felt the water gathering at his feet, had seen river quickly rise. It didn't matter why. It only mattered that there was water, and that meant that cats had to get out.
Enough cats were yelling about the storm that he didn't bother making much noise. He immediately went back to the warrior den to make sure everyone was awake and moving, which they were, and was out of there like a ghost. He had checked the nursery, but cats were already helping the queens and kits to safety. Good. This clan sure did function smoothly. His next stop was the apprentice den.
And here is where he found the first sign of a break in the progress of evacuating. One small black cat stood in the den, obviouly awake, but apparently unwilling to move from his spot. He squinted his eyes, blinking the water away from his eyes. Was that... Was that Reedpaw? Oh, no! He had really only heard in passing about Reedpaw's certain weakness, but he hadn't thought to consider... The rest of the apprentices were either gone, or in the process of going, while this one stayed behind.
Well, he wouldn't let his clanmate stay behind.
"Reedpaw!" He wasn't going to order the apprentice to hurry up and get out. He knew that he wasn't just deciding to leave. Looking around hurriedly, he realized that he simply didn't have the resources to remedy the situation adequately. The only thing he could rely on was his size, at this point. Thistlefire was a pretty big cat.
"Here, climb onto my stomach... just... just sink her claw into my stomach, alright? I'll get you out of here before the water rises too high, and we'll all be safe. Okay?" He almost winced at the thought of voluntarily letting a cat put claws in such a sensitive area, but he knew that if he were to go out into the rain right then, that was the only area of him that wouldn't get drenched. "I can take some reeds and cover you with them, if you'd like, so no stray droplets touch you."
He looked at the apprentice with concern, and his eyes grew soft. "Please, Reedpaw, the clan needs you."
