It was already dark when Aspenfrost pushed through the barrier of reeds and brambles and set out for Highstones. She was trotting at a slightly faster pace than she would've prefered, but she was running late. I hope they won't get too angry, she thought to herself as she swiftly leaped over an uprooted bush and continued toward the twoleg bridge. The pads of her paws were soundless and the occasional hoot of an owl from far away sent a chill down the medicine cat's spine.
The sounds of life were accented at night; like a soothing melody filled with gentle notes and harmonies. Aspenfrost always enjoyed listening to the crickets that hid themselves among the tall stems of grass, and the sound of the river from a fair distance away. Even the sound of the wind, as it barely ruffled her soft, calico fur. It was as if everything was at peace once the sun went down. If only things were always like this, she sighed dream-ishly. But no matter how many times she would hope for things to be so calm and peaceful, she would always wake up to see her Clan mates arguing, or something much more dramatic, like severely injured cats.
By the time Aspenfrost had recited every herb that was ever used in Clan history, she was already at Fourtrees. She often did this whenever there was a meeting among the four Clans' medicine cats, because she generally had nothing else to do during the time it took to rendevous with the others. Besides, it was a great way to keep her memory of remodies fresh - just in case. As the slender calico she-cat padded into the moonlit clearing, she sat down and curled her tail neatly around her paws. She didn't see anyone yet, so maybe she wasn't late. The thought of being early gave Aspenfrost a tiny boost of confidence, and she let out a relieved breath.

Redbramble had some troubles sleeping the past few days. He had just recently decided to become a Medicine cat and didn't quite have the training really. He prayed that each night StarClan would teach him a new herb. That's really how he was getting buy. After every dream, he would teach Emberpaw what he had learned. With that being said, the tom wasn't really sure how tonight would work. Struggling to his paws, the ginger tom went over to Emberpaw and nosed the she-cats flank."It is time." Looking up the tom padded towards WindClan's entrance. It honestly made no sense to him why WindClan should go to four trees when the cats must cross his own territory to get to moonstone. With a shrug the tom padded out of the clan entrance, Emberpaw was close behind him.
It was a chilly night, or perhaps Redbramble was just incredibly nervous. The tom shivered with each step. The sky was clear and he found himself staring at his ancestors."Starclan help me, I hardly know herbs to heal my clan...I know enough to get by...but.." The tom shook the negative thoughts from his head. He knew more than he thought he did. He could protect WindClan in the darkest of times. Not to mention with RiverClan being in WindClans territory it made things slightly easier. He was able to ask for guidance or advice when he needed.
Soon his paws hit against the soft grass of the slope that lead down to four trees. With a nice slow pace the tom walked down. He twitched his whiskers and with a focused gaze he spotted Aspenfrost RiverClans medicine cat. She must have left early. With a twitch of his tail tip he lead himself and his apprentice down the slope and near the stump of four trees."Greetings Aspenfrost, how are you this evening?" the WindClan's medicine cat mewed.

This was the night Fallensnow was waiting for, to travel to the moonstone and to talk to starclan. She looked around to see where Larkpaw was and padded over to her apprentice. Tonight you will be visiting starclan for the first time and just remember what I have taught you. she said to her apprentice. She looked at her pile and noticed that she was low on catnip. Tomorrow i'll get it she thought and headed to the entrence of camp. Soon she was out by the fourtrees. She looked and saw Aspenfrost, Redbramble and Emberpaw. Why hello Aspenfrost, Redbramble and Emberpaw. How are you all? she asked them. [/blockquote]

It was half-moon. The time of the scared medicine cat gatherings, and Larkpaw's first. She had been on edge all day, so nervous but so ready. When her mentor, Fallensnow approached her as they took ready to leave and said, 'Tonight you will be visiting starclan for the first time and just remember what I have taught you.', she had felt her heart soar. She was going to be named ThunderClan's medicine cat apprentice in front of StarClan.
She didn't realize how quick the journey to Fourtrees was. She felt that before she had even blinked twice she was there, glancing around her mentor towards the other Medicine Cats. She saw the RiverClan medicine cat Aspenfrost and the WindClan medicine cat Redbramble. They both seemed to daunting in person that Larkpaw prayed they wouldn't ask her to speak.
After her mentor greeted them though, she felt that she had to do something. So she settled with dipping her head, and mummering a shy "Hello." Blushing furiously, she stepped a few paces away and glanced around wondering where the other medicine cat apprentices were.
