It was dawn, and the bengal she-cat was ready to tackle the biggest problem she had on her plate currently with her apprentice, Water. Her apprentice Reedpaw had nearly drowned when he was younger and had developed an abnormal fear of water. Seriously, if it rained- he went spastic. She had took him on as her apprentice because she figured she would be the best one to help him overcome this fear and be the best warrior he could be for the great clan- Riverclan.
Thus she had told him to meet her by the river at Dawn. StarClan, knew if he would actually show up. She was asking him to come back to where he had nearly died moons before. Sitting there alone, staring over the river the powerful she-cat was overcome again by the beauty and power of the water. Maybe Reedpaw will find a place in this clan without a love for the river… We do have to hunt woodland prey in the winter, perhaps he could grow good at the and that be his strong point. But, I have to try to make him feel confident enough around the water to patrol around it and hopefully fish. With a great sigh, she blinked her pale green eyes and prayed to StarClan, StarClan give us strength, and help Reedpaw please.

When the light of the new day began to filter through the apprentices den, Reedpaw felt the warm sun on his fur. Being one of the newer apprentices, his nest was barely inside the den, and the days it was warm and sunny the older apprentices enjoyed sleeping in. But if there were rainstorms, they knew to let Reedpaw have the back of the den unless they didn’t want any sleep. The black pelted apprentice awoke, blinking his eyes and looking outside. Well, at least today looked to be a nice day so far. It seemed so peaceful and it was then that Reedpaw remembered what he had to do today….he was training with his mentor.
It wasn’t as if Reedpaw hated his mentor, no he had Brindlestar as his mentor. It was just the fact that he was afraid of where he was going. He had not been back to that place since he had nearly drowned. Shuddering, the apprentice began to slow his pace. He didn’t want to arrive there early, no that would mean he would have to stay in that place longer than necessary. It took all his strength to make it to the river and was visibly shaking the entire way there. The apprentice saw his mentor and stopped several tail-lengths away, not wanting to go any further. He couldn’t bring himself to get closer to that dreaded place.
”Brindlestar, I’m here.”

The tom had to quickly look away and back toward Brindlestar. He felt himself growing more scared by the minute and was afraid he would start to hyperventilate soon.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
