Ravenheart
The tom let out a soft sight of relief at Crowscar's answer. Crowscar would not mind his company; Ravenheart had not made a mistake in making that request. In fact, the other cat seemed thrilled, even bouncing a little in his excitement. Only years of practice and self-controlled stopped a smile from showing on Ravenheart's face, though he too felt lighter as well. It would be beneficial to both of them to have someone to talk to, perhaps even become friends with. But that, Ravenheart thought, was a long way off, even if a little progress had been made today. The black tom did not make friends easily and he knew it.
Ravenheart nodded in response before adding, "Good. Thank you." Silence fell as he could not think of what else to say to keep up the conversation. Yet he did not really want to leave yet. The warrior knew that he would have to at some point, but Crowscar looked so pleased at having another cat talk to him, and Ravenheart did not want to take that away. Who knew how often Crowscar could feel that way? A black tail twitched, and Ravenheart decided to leave it up to his companion to strike up a conversation again.

Even if Ravenheart hadn't shown it- or he was oblivious- Crowscar had a feeling that he wasn't the only one nervous with their new acquaintanceship. Well it was more jittery and anxiety on his part.
A moment of silence fell between them, only the forest surrounding them murmuring with soft noises. The tom scratched the muddy ground, pale chartreuse eye glancing up and down, unsure what else to say. Their conversation had died down quicker than he expected- and wanted. Crowscar wished he could say something, anything that could help them get to know each other better. Apparently his stomach had other ideas as a coiling pressure rose up to his stomach, a gurgling noise following.
The tom blinked in surprise before glancing down at his lower half. He looked back up at Ravenheart and grinned sheepishly. "I guess I forgot to eat today morning," Crowscar said. "Could we...um, hunt? I m-mean, if you don't want to, that's fine." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/blockquote][/blockquote]
