The full moon shone brightly, its light gleaming on the rippling pelts of many cats as they all traveled to Fourtrees. The sandy clearing lay still as a gentle gust of wind whispered past it, patiently waiting for StarClan to call the four Clans together.
Hawkstar bounded through the undergrowth, his muscles rippling under his sleek, tabby fur. Bright golden eyes flickered back and forth. He stood crouched before the clearing in the midst of Fourtrees, and after a few moments, he flicked his tail as the signal to follow him. ThunderClan burst through the greenery and into the sandy clearing, being the first to arrive that night. Bunching his muscles, he leapt onto the Great rock, his siloutte outlined against the midnight sky.
The ThunderClan leader settled down a tail-length behind the edge of the massive stone, and curled his tail neatly around his paws in wait for the other three Clans. However, his fur prickled omninously. It felt unreal to know that SkyClan would not be attending the gathering, or any other ever again. Sometimes Hawkstar wondered if abandoning SkyClan was the right thing to do.
A loud voice suddenly filled the clearing, and he glanced down to see Stormpaw, a ShadowClan apprentice, bounce into the clearing excitedly. Beside him, assumingly his mentor, cuffed his ear with a seathed paw to shush him. Hawkstar chuckled softly. He recollected the times when he was an apprentice himself."Reminds me of Featherpaw..." he quietly murmured, sadly remembering the friend he had that had been in SkyClan. The two had met at a gathering, before SkyClan left the forest, and Hawkstar could almost say he was falling in love with her. He had never told her, and for all those seasons, even once he became deputy, he still didn't say a word when SkyClan left. He would've told her if he had the chance, but he had a serious case of greencough at the time, and could not attend the gathering.

Jackalstar lead his riverclan warriors into the clearing. It was beautiful night for a gathering. The moon was bright above them, and excitement sent a tingle through his pelt. He had always loved gatherings, finding the different clans to be fascinating. He saw Hawkstar ahead, looking deep in thought. His silver eyes blinked in a friendly manor as he approached the Thunderclan leader. "Greatings Hawkstar" He mewed with a dip of his head, "How are things in Thunderclan?" He had always had a great deal of respect for the fellow leader, Hawkstar always seemed rather level headed and honored his position well. In the meantime he went over in his head what he was going to share at this Gathering. Did he have any new warriors or apprentices since the last one? Dawnflame followed her leader into the clearing, then split off the second she saw other cats to go talk to. She blinked, her eyes friendly as she looked around for something to do. Wrinklewind sat rather oddly as she looked around at the other cats. They were all looking at her funny. This was the part of gathering she didn't like. The part where everyone stared at her for being different. Her skin crawled with the feeling of eyes glued to her furless flake. Just another day in the life of Wrinklewind she joked bitterly to herself. ooc: ANYONE in riverclan with news please let me know so i can share it! because I dont know who just became warriors/apprentices/ had kits this last moon. etc please and thank you

Sunnypaw bounded into the clearing, head held high. It was her second gathering, and she had always loved hearing about the other clans. Looking around, she walked off towards the Riverclan cats, hoping for someone to talk to. She shook her head, the strong fish-smell throwing her off. The apprentice tried to ignore it, but it was rather hard for her.
Hornetpaw crouched a ways away from Stormpaw, staying close to the ground. She flicked her tail impaitently, waiting for a few minutes. After a while, she bounced after him, jumping on his tail. Letting out a small mrrow, she stood up and went to stand next to him. "Hmm... I wonder what the other clans have to say," the black cat murmured, amber eyes shining.
While Hornetpaw was staying with her clan, Smudgepaw had wandered off. He made his way towards the Windclan cats, his odd eyes shone. The blue one shone brighter than the amber one, due to the fact it was a lighter color. The tom wondered if he would see Maplepaw, whom he had met when he accidently crossed the Windclan border. It was the stupid toad, not me! He thought defiantly, thinking of the lumpy toad he had been playing with.
(OOC: Smokey, Honeypetal's kits are 4-7 days old.)

And you?" he inquired in response, all traces of Featherpaw completely erased from his mind from his earlier thoughts.
Stormpaw yelped in surprise as a heavy weight landed on his tail, and he unsheathed his claws, ready to claw whoever was behind him. Though as he turned to face Hornetpaw, he relaxed. Grinning, he flicked her shoulder with his bushy tail in greeting. "It's always the same," he complained, yawning in boredom as he glanced around the clearing.

Snowpaw looked around, it was her first gathering. She was really excited to come. She looked over and saw cloudwing and purred. I'm happy to be here with you She said.
A dark tabby was sitting on the edge, not really wanting to be there. Why do we have these stupid gatherings? he thought. Fangshatter was thinking about his father and how he died. Getting hit by a monster, he sighed and looked up at the stars.
Scorpionpaw was right behind Sunnypaw, the one he would protect. Arg, fish he said in her ear. He couldn't stand the smell of fish.
Fallensnow walked over to where all the medicine cats always gathered. She still didn't choose a apprentice. She sighed and looked around. Two clans so far she thought.

When Cloudwing heard Snowpaw's voice, he turned to look at her and purred. Padding closer to her, he sat down and pressed his body against hers affectionately. "So am I, he smiled, rasping his tongue across her cheek fondly.
Aspenfrost scented ThunderClan, and she greeted Fallensnow with a polite smile and padded toward her. "Hello, Fallensnow. How are you?" she purred, friendliness in her sweet voice. Aspenfrost enjoyed gatherings very much, because she was able to meet with her fellow medicine cats, and talk to them and other cats from other Clans. She considered it as a time of peace, when all Clans come together to be friends with one another.

Darkstripe padded across the clearing, his dark gray tabby ripping under the moonlight. "Looks like Riverclan's here..." he muttered with a glance around the clearing with his green eyes. "But where's ShadowClan and WindClan?" he asked himself quietly, walking over to a group of warriors.

"Late" Blackthunder replied bitterly as he overheard the tom speak not far from him. It angered him that the cats of the other clans were not on time, he felt that was disrespectful. He narrowed his silver eyes and scanned the gathered cats. He studied them like one would study future victims, yet he kept his expression soft to make it seem as if he was merely glancing around. He looked over at Darkstripe and gave him a curt nod of acknowledgement. Being the trouble he was, he looked for a lonly she-cat whom he might be able to charm over. He always found pleasure in doing that.
Spiderlilly sat with her tail wrapped around her paws. Her blue eyes looking arounf for some company. She watched her clanmates begin to interact with the cats of other clans, she was never very good at walking up to strangers and striking conversation so she hoped perhaps someone would come and talk to her...

Jackalstar hesitated a moment, not sure exactly if he wanted to admit that the prey was a bit... off within his own clan. He secretly wondered if the other clans were having trouble as well. "Well, I'm just glad its finally Green-leaf, I think all the clans could use a time of better fortune." His answer was honest, he always tried to be honest. He took the peaceful truce of the gatherings very seriously. His gaze shifted down to his Deputy, whom did not share such a peaceful quality. He seemed to have his fur ruffled over the tardiness of Windclan and Shadowclan. Such a spirited warrior I have made deputy He thought to himself with a quick shake of his head.

Hawkstar gazed down into the moonlit clearing, his eyes resting upon countless cats as more of them appeared from the shadows. When it appeared as if all Clans had arrived, he cleared his throat and stepped up toward the edge of the Great Rock, his large, muscular figure outlined against the night sky. "Let the gathering begin!" he yowled, his voice ringing through out the clearing.
Stepping backwords, Hawkstar nodded at Jackalstar to be the first to share news with the other Clans. He was curious and even a bit suspicious on what the other Clans had to say about the scarcity of prey, or even if they had the same problem as ThunderClan did. Should he tell them if they didn't? No, he decided quickly. Revealing that sort of information would show a sign of weakness, and ThunderClan certainly didn't desire being attacked by another Clan.

| [style=padding:5px; text-align:justify;] FOXSTAR WINCED AS HE BOUNDED INTO THE CLEARING, his healing shoulder throbbing. Featherstep had suggested he stay in camp, but the red tom didn’t need to show weakness. He was as perfectly strong and healthy as any cat, and his shoulder was rapidly repairing itself. The red bicolor tabby glared at the cats assembled already, envy bubbling in his chest as he realized he wasn’t on time. He felt his lips rise as he glowered up at Jackalstar and Hawkstar. Scowling, he continued on his way towards the Great Rock, and with a huff, he heaved himself up onto the large boulder. ”It was very kind of you to wait for us,” Foxstar snarled, mocking the brown tabby as he took a seat next to Jackalstar. ”You really shoudln’t have.” The red tabby let out a low growl as he settled his gaze on the ShadowClanners who were beginning to mingle. Foxstar calmed his facial expression and turned to Jackalstar. ”I see you’re doing well,” the tom noted, glancing arrogantly at Hawkstar. ”How’s RiverClan faring this green-leaf?”[/style] | [atrb=style,border-top:5px solid #000000;]tag(s): don’t bother word count: ### words notes: would everyone please update me on SC? i’ve missed out on a lot while i was gone. also, emberpaw will be coming as soon as WC shows up.

Hawkstar narrowed his eyes as ShadowClan crashed through the undergrowth and into the clearing, with Foxstar in the lead. As the muscular ginger tom leapt onto the Great Rock, he found himself pulling his lips back in the beginnings of a snarl. Hawkstar lashed his tail in annoyance as Foxstar began to converse with Jackalstar, and rolled his eyes.
Taking a step toward them, he exchanged glares from both of them. "I apoligize for interrupting your gossiping, but I believe the gathering had already started," he snapped, flicking his tail toward the assembled cats below them who were all waiting for the leaders to share their news.
Hawkstar began to study Foxstar while waiting for him to respond, wondering what the results would be if they ever fought against each other. True, he was large and muscular, but Hawkstar matched him in that compartment. Though he seemed to be impulsive and quick to anger, which is usually an overlooked flaw in battle. Hawkstar decided that he didn't have to be thinking of this, because he was already confident that he wouldn't have to meet ShadowClan in battle anytime soon.
Notes: Nothing much, actually. Just a lot of cats falling in love. x3

Riverclan:
A beautiful silver Tabby she-cat walked around looking at all the cats. She spotted her favorite spot to sit. She sat down and smelled all the different scents that mingled in the air.
Windclan
Redwhisker didn't like gatherings, she just wanted to be back at camp in her nice nest. But everytime she had been asleep, the nightmare of eaglescreech wouldn't go away.
Shadowclan:
Darkblaze looked around and saw that Nightblaze was there. His cousin and deputy of Windclan. He hated his cousin so much that he wanted him dead. I should of been deputy. he thought.

Hawkstar grunted, clearing his throat, before stepping up toward the Great Rock. He gazed down at the cats gathered below them, their shining eyes gleaming up at him. "There is nothing to announce in ThunderClan besides that we are as strong and healthy as ever," he meowed slowly, his voice ringing around the hollow. He made sure not to mention anything of the scarcity of prey, since it would risk appearing weak toward the other Clans. He waited a moment longer before stepping back and sittind down with his tail curled neatly around his paws, and he nodded at Foxstar to continue.
Eaglescreech silently padded toward Redwhisker from across the hollow. He was getting annoyed of the ThunderClan chatter and curled his lip in a scowl as he passed them, lashing his tail defiantly. As he neared the ginger tabby, he sat down beside her and aknowledged her with a simple twitch of his whiskers, his ivy-green eyes glaring at everyone else through slitted eyelids."Look at those mixed-blooded kittypets," he hissed under his breath, half to himself and half to Redwhisker.
