Cedarfang was about to protest but then realized how hungry she was when he stomache growled. Rolling her eyes, she took a half-hearted bite out of the squirrel. Silently giving thanks to StarClan, she finished it off in a few famished gulps.
Huh? Oh - t-thanks," she blushed at Nightblaze, after his compliment not wanting to show him her eyes. They weren't pretty; they were just yellow. Nightblaze must be half-blind, Cedarfang mused to herself, a hint of amusement sparkling in her eyes at the thought.

Nightblaze saw Cedarfang eat the whole squirrel in like two seconds. she must of been really hungry he thought. The deputy layed down next to his mate and gave her a couple good licks So how was that squirrel? he asked her |

Cedarfang purred when Nightblaze lay down beside her and she buried her nose into her neck, breathing in his familiar, assuring scent. "Prey is prey," she meowed simply, amusement glittering in her golden-colored eyes. She stretched her legs a bit before settling back down in their nest.

The deputy smiled and closed his eyes. I wonder if starclan will give me another dream he thought. Then he felt a paw jabbing him in the side. Nightblaze, You gotta get back to camp. he said to him and then looked at Cedarfang. Hello beautiful. he said. Nightblaze hit blazeheart playfully. Hey she's mine. he said getting up. |

Cedarfang another voice beside her, and she turned around in time to see Nightblaze swiping a paw at Blazeheart. She blushed at his compliment, and looked down at her paws. She wasn't used to other cats called her beautiful. "Good morning, Blazeheart," she smiled, casting an amused glance at Nightblaze.

Nightblaze got up onto his paws and then looked at Cedarfang with a look like 'told you'. I told Blizzardstar you went on a boarder patrol. Blazeheart said. Thank starclan he always got my back. Thank you Blazeheart. Common Cedarfang Let's get back to camp and get you to do something. He said with a purr. He felt like Cedarfang had changed him to being nice instead of being bossy. |

Cedarfang rolled her eyes and Nightblaze and rose to her paws, sharing his thanks to Blazeheart. If Blizzardstar had found out about their little hoenymoon, he would've surely made them patrol from dawn to sunset. "Alright," she smiled, for once not thinking up of a teasing reply as she would've done. Swiftly, she slipped out of the ring of bushes and purred as a warm breeze ruffled her fur.

Blazeheart went a separate way, since he was hunting.
Noghtblaze followed his mate and rubbed against her. It wasn't that bad, I'm just glad that Blazeheart always got my back since we were kits. We used to get into so much trouble but he would always take the blame. I'm glad that he is loyal too. He said. |

Cedarfang purred when Nightblaze pressed up against her side, and she licked his ear affectionately. "He must mean a lot to you," she murmured, sympathy glowing in her eyes as she gazed at Nightblaze. The sun brightly shone down on the pair, making Cedarfur's pelt sparkle beautifully. "If.. if we do have kits.. what if something goes wrong?" she twitched her tail tip in worry.

She suddenly buried her nose into Nightblaze's neck and stopped walking, wanting to be held by the security and safety of his fur. "But it is something to worry about! I couldn't handle it if.. if.." Cedarfang sniffled and pressed closer to Nightblaze as he wrapped his tail around her. She slowly felt the trembling in her body fade, and he heart beat slow. "You.. You'll take care of me too?" she looked up at him, her eyes wide with hope and fear. Cedarfang didn't just want the medicine cat to be with her, she wanted someone to guide her and tell her what to do.
