General:
• No fighting among each other, or any aggresive attitiudes. We certainly do not want any drama-lamas. If you want to go ahead and be a meanie-pie, then you can suffer the consequences of the ban hammer.
• You are allowed to have an image in your signature, but please keep the size below 515x650.
• Don't ask for staff positions. No offense, but it's irritating when a member starts to pester me with all the, "Can I be a mod? Pretty please?". If we think you're the right person for the job, then we'll let you know.
• Respect your staff. They got the job for a reason, and you can gaurentee that they know what they're doing. If you have a problem with one of the staff, then PM me about it, and I'll talk to that staff member.
• TFD is an APM site. Meaning that there is one account for each member, and you don't have to log in and out to roleplay different characters.
• Please keep everything on this site pg-13. If you have two characters that are mates, and are planning to have kits, be discreet about it.
Posting:
• Godmodding or Powerplaying is strictly forbidden on this forum. This means controlling things outside of your authority, like controlling another member's character(s) without their permission, or having your character never get hurt and always evade in a fight.
• TFD is a semi to advanced-literate roleplay site. This means that any two-liner posts will be deleted without a moment's hesitation. Each IC post should be more than 100 words. And don't think that I won't know if your post is 20 words under the limit, because there is a word counter.
• Please do not double post while IC. If you forgot to add something, just click the "modify" button.
• The future or fates of other cats is not up to you. Plots of that cat is made by the member who owns it and by the staff along with the member.
• You may not give your cat a prophecy without the approval of the administrator (me).
• Liquid time is allowed. Meaning your characters can be in different threads at the same time.
Character-Creating
• Your character's description, personality and history should be at least 5-7 sentences. If you character is a kit, you may leave their history undetermined until they are old enough to add something to it.
• Your character cannot have the same prefix in their name as another member's character in the same Clan. I don't want any confusion.
• You may not roleplay your character before it has been accepted, posts like so will be removed.
• The password is CreationKey.
• All character applications are to be posted in the "Create-A-Cat" board only. Copy and paste the application form and then create a new thread, and once there, you may paste the form and start your character's bio.
• Only create as many cats as you can handle. If you have more than 5 cats whom you don't roleplay often, just send me (Stormeh) a PM and we'll decide from there. Though you may also choose to kill them off or put them up for adoption.
• Be realistic with your cat. No head bands, or jewerly, or completely wacky/impossible coloring. Not once have I ever seen a cat have sparkly earings and rainbow fur.
• You don't have to worry about common eye-color here. You can make a brown tabby cat have blue eyes if you like; but any colors like rainbow, white, red, black, purple, will not be accepted. Colors thare are accepted are: blue, green, yellow, orange/amber and gray.
• Write names as seen in the book. Example; Fireheart, not FireHeart.
• Canon character names are forbidden from the site. I'm very strict on originality.
• You can only have one "powerful" cat in 3 Clans. Powerful meaning cats like Leaders, Deputies, Medicine Cats, and MCA's. You cannot own/roleplay 2 powerful cats in the same clan. You are only allowed to roleplay 1 leader, 1 deputy, and 1 medicine cat/medicine cat apprentice in all.
