Wasppaw is a 11 moon old apprentice in Shadowclan. He was born outside of the clan but his grandfather was a shadowclan cat. I'm hoping his future name will be Waspwing. So this is what I need.

Can't he stay though because in the book Outcast there was a Mousepaw and a Mousefur. In the books there where sometimes two cats with the same first name. The only way it would be confusing is if they had the same last name as well and they wont. His name is going to be Badgershadow. So I don't understand why he can't stay. And Badgerstep looks nothing like a badger which Badgerpaw does. Badgerstep is black and white.

Um. That was because Mousepaw and Mousefur were in different Clans. Having two cats in one Clan with the same prefix in their name would be confusing. Also, appearance has nothing to do with this... but Badgerstep does have similar colors to that of a badger. Badgers are usually black and white.

no Mousefur and Mousepaw are both thunderclan cats. Mousepaw obviously an apprentice Mousefur is an elder. They are same clan. She is the one that was always with longtail once he went blind. I got the book with me right here. Look it up if you want.

Well, it doesn't matter. Here, we don't have two cats in one Clan with the same prefix in their name. You'll have to change his name to something else.
