Jackalstar yawned as he arched his back and stepped into the sunlight outside his den. Blinking as his eyes adjusted, he looked about to see who was in camp. He had a terrible time sleeping last night, his mind was in a disarray of images that didn't make any sense to him. It was the third night in a row he had the same dream, each time waking up just before he saw who was responsible. Shaking the thoughts from his head he looked about for someone to travel to Moonstone with him. He wanted to see if starclan had any answers for his dreams, as well as an explanation for the unusual shortage of pray considering the time of year. He walked up to a group of cats and mewed, "Anyone feel up to accompanying me to moonstone?" Remembering how thin Windclan looked at the last gathering, he knew it would be smart to take more than just one cat with him, as hungry cats are hostile cats.

Spiderlilly looked up from the mouse she was eating at her leader as he spoke. Her eyes were wary. She had been in another fight with her brother that morning and felt particularly lonely. "I'd be up for an adventure," she mewed licking her lips and gathering her paws from beneath her. Maybe the Leader had more insight on her brother, after all, he had chosen him as he deputy. She looked about at the other cats in camp and was surprised she was the first to answer, for usually the idea of going to moonstone was exciting. Licking her jaws again, she began to wonder what her brother was up to now. He had stormed out of camp alone that morning, and had yet to return. I hope everything's alright She thought silently.

Honeypetal shook her pelt of loose moss, getting up from her next. Looking at her newborn kits still sleeping, she walked quietly out of the nursery. Her dainty gold paws took her into the center of camp, where Jackalstar was. She smiled and meowed a friendly, "Good morning."
She listened to his question, but just sighed. She had just had kits; and already wanted to get out of the nursery. The white and amber cat looked around, then heard Spiderlilly reply to their leader. "I wish I could help..." She said quietly, then went to sit down outside the nursery.

Spiderlilly saw Honeypetal emerge from the nursery. "Good morning, How are the kits? She hadn't seen them yet, but some of the other warriors had been talking last night about how beautiful they were in the warriors den. Spiderlilly had no problem with kits, she just couldn't imagine herself cooped up all day in the nursery. She was too young and reckless for that. Maybe in the future... then again it still seemed impractical in her mind. She liked her freedom too much. You don't sound selfish at all she thought to herself, how dare a littler of kits take up your precious time! Blinking away the scolding voice in her head she sat down again. getting the feeling that they weren't leaving anytime soon.

Honeypetal looked at Spiderlilly, and paid a few moments of attention to the warrior before sitting down next to her, flicking her tail messily around her paws, and replying. "Oh, they're fine," The queen purred. Imagining her kits sleeping in the nursery, she continued. "I'm hoping that Goldkit stops sneezing though," She meowed, looking down at her tail and trying to curl it more neatly around her paws.

"It's probably the pollen from the blooming flowers making him sneeze" Spiderlilly mewed, hoping to put the queen's worry to ease. Even Spiderlilly knew that nothing was worse for a queen, then having one of their kits sick. "Before you know it your kits will be running around camp causing all sorts of trouble." Kits, she maybe didn't have a thing for, but apprentices she liked a lot. She always enjoyed passing on the knowledge of the warrior code to the younger cats. She realized she was speaking rather nonsense conversation, but was enjoying the company all the same. "They're so small and delicate when they're this little though, are you ever afraid of accidentally hurting them?" Her eyes shown in genuine concern. That was one of her main reasons she was scared to have kits of her own, she was afraid of being too rough, or hurting one without meaning to. She wasn't known for being overly nurturing or gentle.

A grey tom padded into camp. He had just gotten back from sleeping with a rouge. He didn't care and if the clan found out, he would deny it. Coalstreak saw that there was a couple cats around Jackalstar. He padded over to the cats and looked to see what was going on, stopping next to Spiderlilly. Hey Spiderlilly He said looking at her in a way that he would at she-cats.

Spiderlilly watched him walk over from the corner of her eyes, curiously sparkling in their blue hues. Coalstreak always had this look about him like he was up to no good. She found it oddly fascinating. "You look mighty proud of yourself, Coalstreak." she mused with mischief dazzling in her eyes. Coalstreak was handsome, but he knew it. She was all to used to watching she-cats swoon over him, pity she wasn't like that. She liked to play games just as much as he did. The only thing that seemed to be consistent between them is neither one was anywhere near settling down and had open eyes for anyone who crossed their path.

Honeypetal shook her head at the other she-cat, a slight smile on her face. "I was kind of worried, but then I realized that they're not that delicate. Even though they are little, they like to be treated like they aren't," she explained, happy to answer her clanmate's question.
The queen watched Coalstreak walk into camp, with a smug look on his face. She rolled her eyes, watching how he acted like he was better than them. "He's such a flirt..." Honeypetal muttered under her breath, only loud enough for Spiderlilly to hear. "Yeah you do," She agreed briskly to the she-cat's comment, flicking her tail. She waited, wanting to know his answer.

the Tom looked at both she-cats and smiled. well I'm looking at two beautiful she-cats but the one in from of me is gorgeous. he said looking at Spiderlilly. She was gorgeous and he loved those types of she-cats. Coalstreak kept looking at her and he knew he wanted her. The question was did she want him?

Spiderlilly twitched her whiskers in amusement at Honeypetal's muttered comment. It was nice to see she wasnt the only one who thought the tom was one. She made a note to make sure to stop in later when the kits weren't sleeping so she could see them. She wanted to keep talking with Honeypetal about what it was like to be a mother, because she never really had someone to ask before. However with Coalstreak here, she thought it would be odd to keep talking about it. And maybe a bit awkward, that a shecat is so terrified at the idea of kits. When he called her beautiful, her heart beat a little faster, though on the outside you would never guess it. "Now tell me something I dont know" she retorted back sarcastically, though her eyes dazzled even brighter in mischief, locking with his and not looking away. She could read his body language as easy as she knew her own thoughts. He was interested, and by showing her that made her want to toy with him. She wondered if she could ever get him alone, what an interesting occasion that had potential to be.

When Coalstreak herd the sound of her voice, he wanted to pounce on her but he fought it back. Why does she make me want her? he asked himself and then said So Spiderlilly, you want to go hunting with me right now? He asked the she-cat. Then when we get alone we could have some time to ourselves! He hoped that she would and they would both get lucky since he could sense that she wanted him too.

Jackalstar looked about at his warriors. Maybe he was over exaggerating... maybe his dream was really just a dream. They all seemed just fine, there were kits in the nursery, warriors loyal to their clan, and no one was sick. He liked that the most. "Thank you Spiderlilly, but I think I'm going to postpone a day or two actually. I'd at least need to wait till Blackthunder was back in camp so I could leave the clan in his charge." He always spoke highly of his deputy, because he felt no need to doubt him. The warrior had proved himself time and time again. Spiderlilly looked flustered about her brother again, and he wondered what it was that caused them to quarrel so much. What was going on behind their minds that he did not know.
Jackalstar then addressed Honeypetal, "I'm glad to hear they are doing ok, Have you spoken with the medicine cat about Goldkit's sneeze?" Nothing was more important to a clan than its future, and Jackalstar was especially watchful of the kits of his clan. Having none of his own, he looked to every kit like a father, and took interest in each one.
When Coalstreak slid into camp, Jackalstar's fur prickled. There was something about the warrior he didnt trust, but he could never put a paw on what. Sure he brought in prey every day, attended patrols, and took care of his clan, but something was...off. He watched the interaction between Spiderlilly and Coalstreak with interested eyes.

Spiderlilly nodded to Jackalstar. "Just let me know when you need an escort, I'd be happy to go." Her eyes dazzled at her leader. She had a great deal of respect for Jackalstar, he had a way about him that made him very welcoming. He was always accepting and looking for the best in others. Turning her expression to Coalstreak she mewed, "Well, since I am now without a task, I might as well do something productive," Her eyes dazzled as she spoke, "But we are only hunting" SHe twitched her whiskers playfully as she spoke. She had noticed the way Jackalstar's fur rose when the warrior had approached them. She fixed her blue eyes on the leader's without blinking. SHe was notorious for staring. Then she looked over at Honeypetal, "I'll bring you back a fat fish to eat." She promised in a friendly mew.

Honeypetal looked at her leader, smiling slightly. "I haven't since I thought she would stop in a few days. I'll ask Aspenfrost about it if it hasn't stopped," She queen mewed, flicking a golden ear. The queen followed the tom's gaze, looking at the two warriors as the talked. She twitched her whiskers in amusement. "Okay," She mewed to Spiderlilly, then turned to Jackalstar.
"So, how are you doing?" She asked with a friendly mew. The white cat adjusted how she was sitting, so she could twitch her fluffy tail back and forth. Which she started doing, since she was impaitent on occasions. Her feet itched to do something other than sitting, since it had been the only thing she had been doing for a few days.
