ShadowClan was certainly becoming a formidable and prosperous clan, even in all the famine and flooding. With all the flooding, now would have been an opportune time to annihilate WindClan, but something told him off for thinking that. His personal life would have to stay out of ShadowClan affairs until they were unstoppable, then he could go around murdering the tainted souls on the gale-filled moors. Right now, however, he'd have to take what he can get, and move on from there. Foxstar shifted on his paws, feeling a slight twinge of pain and frustration as his shoulder throbbed in the uncomfortable position it was in. Foxstar could hardly believe that he was still even the tiniest bit injured after last moon's incident. The large red tom felt his lip rising and forced it downward as he stood up. The tom blinked the sun out of his amber eyes and addressed the clan, suppressing a smile as he saw the looks of awe on some kit's face. "Cats of ShadowClan, lend me your ears! I believe it is rightful time that a certain apprentice was made a warrior. Now, Mallowpaw, please come forward." Foxstar watched as the clan assembled around his feet and listened to the various murmurs of apprehension and jubilance sounding out from the throng of cats below. The red-furred tom loved to see how they were so excited and yet so unassuming of the announcement he had yet to make.[/style] |
