--whiteFROST
The river was in full flood, RiverClan camp was being destroyed and Whitefrost wasn’t helping his clan. The events of this night, had to be the strangest set of circumstances. Instead of helping his clanmates escape the flood, he was going with the apprentice he loved- his apprentice- Creampaw. Creampaw was half-clan, another irony in the romance. Whitefrost, known for hating half-clan cats, was going with his half-clan apprentice and love to her birth clan- ThunderClan.
Part of him understood her desire to know what was happening with her mother and sister, the other part of them understood that when they returned to the camp they were both in trouble. He shouldn’t have followed her, he should have helped his clan- but he loved her and wasn’t about to let her run into an enemy ThunderClan patrol alone.
As he reached his apprentice, at the River his eyes widened. The river was twice it’s width and had the rushing fury of StarClan. Could they swim across it? Turning to his apprentice, he tried to catch her eyes to express the feelings he felt that he hadn’t yet spoken to her. If something happened, and something happened to either one of them tonight- he wanted her to know even if it wasn’t the right time to tell her. He was in love with her. The half-clan, bold, beautiful Creampaw. He loved her enough that it hurt. The only question that remained in his racing mind was, would she feel the same?

Fur was plastered to her body, making the cream colored apprentice feel so much heavier. Her paws were itching to get to her family now, the only family she had left. Her father had died the half moon before, and it still ate apart Creampaw. He had been one of the reasons she had joined RiverClan, if not for him she probably would still be in ThunderClan. But she was doing better as the days went by, and now she was more than eager to see her mother and sister. She had not seen her mother or sibling for a little over a moon, and she just had to make sure they were alright. She felt awful for disobeying Brindlestar, but Creampaw just had a feeling. She could just hear Tansypaw’s voice in her ears and they were calling her.
As she traveled toward the ThunderClan border with her mentor, she somewhat felt bad that Whitefrost had come along. She didn’t mean to drag anyone else into this, and would have gone alone. But she was glad she had someone with her, just incase the worst happened. The apprentice sighed as she pushed aside her thoughts as they approached the river. No! The river was flooded completely, and it was rough. How would they manage? She looked toward Whitefrost and noticed something in his eyes. What was that?
”If you don’t want to go on, I understand. But I know I can make it across. I don’t want you to get hurt or anything.”
