The sun shines brightly through the clan territories, it's warm rays pleasing all life - plants and cats. The camps are busy with coming and going patrols, and queens with their energetic kits. Life is coming along well so far; but how long will it last?

Rapidstream yawned as he panced out of the warriors den, tired from staying up guarding the camp while everyone else slept. As he walked passed the fresh-kill pile, the dark tabby noctied how low it looked. I'll have to send out hunting patrols soon, Rapidstream thought as he sat down to groom his fluffed up fur.
Wildpaw was near the edge of the barrior of the ravien, trying to find a stone of some kind in the soiley walls sos he can built something for the kits to play with. Dragging his green glaze away from the barrior, he looked over at the warriors den. "When will Amberpelt wake up?" the cream tabby thought outloud.

ooc;; Yay! Thanks for starting the roleplay in this thread. xD
Amberpelt stretched her jaws open in a wide yawn, flexing her claws as she stretched her legs. Groggily, she climbed out of her warm nest and bounded out of the large bush that held the warriors' den and purred as the warm sunshine greeted her gently. She stood still for a moment, letting the sunlight seep into her fur before snapping her eyes open again. She saw Wildpaw across the clearing, and trotted over to him. "Wildpaw, let's go collect some fresh bedding for the elders." she meowed, looking down at the creamy apprentice with expectant amber eyes.

Rapidstream glanced over his shoulder when he heard russlting from the warriors den. Watching as Amberplt went over to Wildpaw, her apprentice, he stood up. Those two make a good hunting team, a small patrol wouldn't hurt them, the tabby thought.
Wildpaw's eyes brighten when Amberpelt came over. He felt a bit disapointed when she said the ywere going to collect moss, but the elders were great friends to the clan. "Ok, th-" the apprentice started, but was cutt off.
"Amberpelt, you'll hae to skip that for now. You're needed on a hunting patrol." Rapidstream came over, his greenish-blue eyes seriuos as he scanned both cats.
Wildpaw make a big grin on his face when the deputy said they were to go hunting. While it was true Wildpaw was a bad fighter right now, his hunting skills made up for it, brinning back some of the most prey.

ooc;; Hey, do you want Amber and Rapid to become mates?
Amberpelt saw the disappointment in Wildpaw's eyes and opened her mouth to explain how gathering moss for the elders was an honor until Rapidstream cut her off. She bit back a sharp reply and nodded her head, her ears twitching annoyingly. Rapidstream was respected through out the clan, but sometimes he could act a bit ignorant. "Sure, Rapidstream." she meowed simply, flicking her tail. "Whom else should I take?" She certainly did not want Runningleap to join; even Shadowclaw was better.

((sorry Amber, he'll be single for a while. Maybe after he becomes leader;)*let's hope*))
Rapidstream thought for mintute before speaking again. "I think taking Runningleap, and Nettlepaw should do. After," he made an amused look as he glanced over at the hollow log that severed as the apprentices den. "He does need to aprove on some of his hunting skills."
Wildpaw perked his ears forward when Rapidstream said to bring Runningleap, and Nettlepaw. He glanced over at Amberpelt, knowing the brown tabby wasn't getting along every well with the gray spotted tabby for a while. But Nettlepaw was his best friend, ever since they were kits in the Nuscery.

ooc;; Aw.. he won't be leader for a while though. D: And Nettlepaw isn't mad at Wildpaw, things are.. fresh again, you could say. xD
Amberpelt didn't even try to digsuise her disappointment. Now she knew that every fun activity she did always ended up turning sour. Her eyes dulled and she nodded self-conciously, sighing inwardly. "Alright." she muttered, glancing over to where Runningleap was. He sat by the warriors' den, grooming his short spotted fur contently.

((I was talking about Amber, and Running. Not nettle)) Rapidstream let out a sigh, easily telling that the she-cat was disappoint. "Just at least try to get along with him please! I don't want to deal with you two again.." the dark tabby groaned, shaking his head.
Wildpaw nodded, engry flowing in his body. "I'll go get Nettlepaw!" the cream tabby meowed, racing towards the apprentices den.

OOC;; I know, I was just saying so you'd know.
Amberpelt scowled but said nothing more. She watched Wildpaw zoom off toward the apprentices' den and sighed. She remembered her own apprentice naming ceremony, and bittersweet memories of her Mother flashed through her mind. She felt her heart in her throat as she remembered Swiftpelt's body being dragged into the clearing. Suddenly, she shook the thought away vigorously. Amberpelt shouldn't be dwelling in the past, and instead she should be focusing on the present.

Rapidstream shook his head as he walked off, once again wondering why Hawkstar chose him as deputy.
Wildpaw trotted towards the apprentices den, his tail held up high. Poking his head inside, he spotted Nettlepaw, his light brown tabby coat in his nest. Pancing over, he gave the tabby a poke on the flank. "Wake up Nettlepaw, we're going hunting!" Wildpaw meowed, his green eyes flashing.

OOC;; He's a sandy-pale colored tabby..
Nettlepaw groaned a protest when he felt a paw prod into his flank and curled his tail around his nose. "No.. I-I'm catching a m-o-o-o-o-o-u-s-e..." he mumbled unconciously, his paws twitching as he dreamed. The fattest, plumpest mouse he had ever seen stood before him, and his claws were only a heartbeat away from it.

Wildpaw rolled his eyes when Nettlepaw only curled up more. Forming a big grin on his face, he poked the sandy-colored tabby again. "Nettlepaw, there's the world's fattest rabbit waiting for you to hunt out in the terrioty. But," he turned around, his green glaze glued to his best friend. "I'll just eat all of it if you don't want it." Wildpaw knew Nettlepaw loved rabbits, and he licked his lips.

Nettlepaw snapped his eyes wide open and scrambled to his paws, completely forgetting his sweet dream of the plump mouse. Rabbits weren't found in their territory often, since they usually live in WindClan territory, and Nettlepaw just loved the chewy, tasteful meat. He shot past Wildpaw and out into the clearing, heading straight for Amberpelt when he had saw her. "Let's go!" he sputtered, excitement gleaming in his eyes. Runningleap jumped when Nettlepaw raced past him, and decided to follow him and see what was up.

((I'll get this she-cat's profile done as soons as I finish this post)) Wildpaw burst out laughing as he followed Nettlepaw into the clearing. Just as he was half way towards Amberpelt, he bumped into a warrior that was walking by.
"Watch where you're going apprentice!" a creamy-white fawn-covered she-cat whirled around to face the apprentice, her deep blue eyes blazing.
Wildpaw took a step back, pinning his wide ears back. "Sorry Owlscream, I didn't see you!" he explaine, looking pass her at Amberpelt.
Owlscream only bared her fangs, the long scar on the right side of her face showing highly. "You have eyes, use them!" she sneered at the younger cat.

OOC;; True, you know that that's against the rules.
Amberpelt greeted Nettlepaw with a half-hearted smile. She knew she was being selfish, taking it out on Nettlepaw just because he was Runningleap's apprentice. Suddenly a yowling broke out from ahead of her and she narrowed her eyes when she saw Owscream scowling at Wildpaw. Anger boiled u inside her and she bounded over to them, shooting Owlscream a glare. "Stop it, Owlscream, it was an accident." she meowed calmly, a hint of a growl in her voice.
