Ospreykit rolled around in the sand. His long brown-and-white tabby fur got dusty, making it more pale than usual. A small cloud of dust followed the kit. He was absolutely bored. He sat still for a minute, laying on his stomach. His head rested on his paws, and he sighed. "Why can't we be apprentices already!?" he said aloud, then stood up. The poofy kit was tired of just sitting around. He bounced around, looking for someone to play with.
Ospreykit's short tail flicked behind him. I'm never going to find someone who'll play with me.... he thought, frowning.

Stupid warrior for catching her, she was just about to race an apprentice out of camp. Though she may not know her way around the territory, she could still win the race. Just as she was headed out she was caught. Frowning she made her way around the camp, in search of something to do. It didn't take long for Willowkit to spot Ospreykit. He looked just as bored as she was.
Hearing him she grunted in agreement. "Because they enjoy making us suffer by waiting. They think it is something fun to make kits be bored and stop them from having any fun." Willowkit added to her brother's statement.
Rolling her eyes she sat down for a moment, shaking a bit of the dirt from her gray tabby fur. "If you have any ideas, I'm all for sneaking out, or doing something fun." she muttered.

"True. Hey, Willowkit," Ospreykit agreed, then greeted his sister. His eyes lit up as she said the last part. "As a matter of fact, I do know a way to sneak out of camp, last time I checked." He said quietly. Indicating for her to follow him, he slithered over to the nursery. "I think, there's supposed to be a tunnel through the heather somewhere over here.... we could get out that way."
Muttering, he pawed a patch of dead grass out of the way. There was a small hole in some thick heather, just big enough for the two kits to get through. He squirmed into it, his long fur snagging on the sides of the hole. "C'mon, we don't have all day until they notice we're gone. It's kind of hard to miss us, if you haven't noticed," he urged her to follow. If he got caught by himself, out in the territory, he might as well be a three moon old kit again.

And this is why she got along so well with her littermate. She had heard stories of how cats and their siblings never got along. It didn't seem to be a problem for her and Ospreykit, they liked the same things, had the same ideas, and well they really didn't fight much. Willowkit just had gotten lucky. A huge grin appeared on her face as her brother mentioned a way out of camp. "And I am just being told this now? Where was this idea days ago?"
she questioned staring at Ospreykit. Forgetting about that for a slight moment, she followed after her brother. If he was leading her into fun, she was completely fine with sneaking out of camp. He was brilliant, out the back of the nursery. "Have I told you lately that you are my favorite brother?" her grin stretched further across her face. Watching him work, she kept glancing around, making sure they weren't going to be caught. "Pfft. They probably don't care. They will be glad to see us go so we aren't bothering them about when we will be apprentices." she rolled her eyes. Willowkit followed after her brother, not liking the tight fit through the hole. If it got them out of camp, it was worth feeling it brush against her fur. "Now what? We explore, or we see if we can catch a rabbit?" Willowkit was just throwing ideas out now, but her tail was twitching back and forth completely anxious and excited for this adventure.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ospreykit smirked. "I'm your only brother, I see very clearly how I'm your favorite." Finally, he saw the break in the tunnel. Climbing out gratefully, he turned around. "Wait, does that mean I'm your least favorite brother too?" Then shifting from paw to paw, he realized it didn't matter. They were out of camp. Not stuck in the nursery. "I take that question back. Anyways, I think we should try to catch a rabbit," he said as he felt a pain of hunger in his stomach.
Looking around, her started walking to the right. He didn't know where exactly he was going, but he didn't care very much either. He just wanted to find a rabbit and have fun. He was happy to be out of camp, and he had the urge to run. His long legs were just waiting there, doing nothing, and he didn't like it.
"Have you seen anything yet?" he asked his sister, flicking his tail impaitently. He wasn't the paitent kind, and he wasn't going to wait long before he started goofing off. Ospreykit kept going, but his amber eyes didn't see anything. Maybe it was because he was daydreaming.

Willowkit couldn't help but giggle. She knew he was her only brother, but it still was fun to tease. "I know, but you're still my favorite.
She rolled her eyes. "You could never be my least favorite brother. I actually like having you around." And that would be as far as a compliment as the tom would receive. Her eyes widened as they finally were out of the nursery and into somewhere they had never been before. "Rabbit it is then. Willowkit agreed. She followed after her brother, not wanting to get left behind. This was so much better than being in camp and being scolded about trying to play. They were close to becoming apprentices and it seemed each day Willowkit became more and more energetic and ready to move out of the nursery. Looking around she had completely forgotten that they were suppose to be looking for rabbits. She was completely content with getting out of camp. "Umm..no, I was just enjoying being out of the nursery and having freedom." She admitted. Maybe her attention span wouldn't last long enough to catch a rabbit. "Let's just explore, I don't think I want to take time to find a rabbit, I just want to run around."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ospreykit looked back at his sister and smiled. "Good, because I have the attention span of a butterfly and haven't been looking either," he admitted, and flicked his tail, looking around. He was happy. All of his life he had wanted to grow up, and no he finally got to act like a warrior.
Turning around to face his sister, the fluffy kitten pawed gently at Willowkit's face. Then he sped off, trying to get her to follow him. He purred lowly in happiness; it had been a good day so far.

Willowkit was barely paying attention to her brother when he spoke and was now looking for the butterfly she thought he had mentioned. "Where is the butterfly you saw?"
she asked as she continued to try and find one. The sight of Ospreykit's paw soon got Willowkit's attention. What did he want now? Seeing him run off she grinned. If he wanted to play chase then she was up for the game. Running after him she purred. "I wonder what the other clans look like." the kit thought out loud. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ospreykit moved quickly, trying not to be caught by his sister; though he stayed just out of her reach to annoy her. "well," he started, getting distracted slightly by a butterfly. He chased after is lamely, then went back to evading Willowkit.
"If their anything like the apprentices have told me, Thunderclan and Shadowclan are like fat badgers," he smirked, then flicked his tail and continued. And Riverclan look like us," he finished.
Then, a great idea popped into his mischeivious mind. "What if," Ospreykit said slowly. "What if we went to see what they looked like? Go find a border and wait for a different clan cat to come by?"

So Ospreykit was turning this into a game? Okay, she could deal with that. She tried to stop her laughter, but it was a failed attempt. This was the most fun she had ever remember having.
Imagining the other clans, the she-kit was listening to her brother. Fat badgers? Great, now the images in her head were a clan full of badgers. Thank you Ospreykit. Grinning she realized how mousebrained that sounded. Oh well, they would find out soon enough. They were, after all, six moons.
Willowkit's ears perked up at her brother's suggestion. "Ospreykit, you might be a genius."
The fluffy gray kit was loving the idea. Why hadn't she thought of that? "And we can guess what clan it is. Maybe we will even see a badger!" she exclaimed. She bounced on her paws as she imagined what they would find. "Sounds like we have a new plan." Willowkit mewed excitedly.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"If we see a badger, I bet we could kill it! They'd be no match for us!" The brown kit teased. Eyes lit with excitement, he shifted from paw to paw in anticipation. "Sounds like we do," he said smiling, then looked around. "Where do you think the Thunderclan border is? I want to see if they are as big as I heard they are!"
Twitching his whiskers, Ospreykit picked a random direction. He bounded that way, calling over his shoulder. "I'm going this way, Willowkit!" This was so exciting for the normally nursery-bound kit.

ooc;; I'm assuming they're not far from camp. :U (Hope ya don't mind me budding in. o3o
Cedarfang bounded across the moor, a scrawny rabbit held firmly in her jaws. It was all she could find, and it was only the size of, for example, a full-grown kit. Her mind reeled with questions, so much that in fact that she didn't notice the fresh scent of kits that lingered in the air. Well, that may have been due to the prey-scent wafting around her muzzle also. Though, when she decided to bury her rabbit and try to look for any more prey, she finally caught the scent of kits and gasped.
Quickly burying her rabbit, she tracked the scent down toward where the camp was and made out two small shapes by the gorse barrier. "Willowkit, Ospreykit! What are you two rascals doing out of camp?" she mewed in surprise, trotting up to them with a frown on her face. Cedarfang wasn't angry with the little ones, but she knew she had to discipline them just a bit to keep them from sneaking out of camp again in the future.

Willowkit nodded in agreement. Of course a badger wouldn't stand a chance with the two of them! They were the best team ever! The badger wouldn't know what had hit it. The poor creature would be left stunned at their awesomeness. "Your guess is as good as mine. I guess RiverClan would be the one by the river.
she thought outloud. But she had no clue about ThunderClan. Realizing she was about to be left she nodded at Ospreykit's statement. She began to follow after her brother, not daring to be left behind on this adventure. Hearing the voice of one of the warriors in the clan, Willowkit instantly became fearful. Backing up to her brother, she glanced up at Cedarfang. "We're just exploring." she mewed. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ospreykit tensed upon Cedarfang's arrival. Wincing, he turned around to face the warrior. Seeing that his sister was afraid, he puffed out his chest and stood in front of her. "Well, to put it in other words...." He said, not knowing how to put it. "We were getting ready. We're becoming apprentices soon, and we thought it'd be good to know a little of the territory now," the brown kit mewled cheerfully, hoping the warrior wouldn't get them in trouble.
Adding onto that, he backed up his sister. "Please, Cedarfang, if anyone is going to be punished make it me. It was my idea to come out here, and I'm willing to take the blame." Usually the cat would've talked himself out of trouble and left the other cat to be punished, but Willowkit was his sister so he took the clam for it.

Cedarfang held her gaze on Ospreykit and Willowkit for a moment longer, then sighed. "If only I didn't have a soft spot for kits, then Blizzardstar would have your tails!" she snapped, though in a light, amused tone.
She trotted forward and gestured with her tail for the kits to follow. "I need to retrieve my rabbit, so you two might as well come with me. Just stay close to me, alright?" she mewed, her eyes warm. It wouldn't be that harmful to let the kits explore a bit, would it? Cedarfang turned around and started back toward where she had buried her prey.
