Minnowstreak
Running was, and always had been, one of her favorite activities, the she-cat mused as she ran. She loved the rhymic sound her paws made as she streaked across the ground and the feel of the wind through her fur, whistling in her ears. Her light gray tail streamed behind her, and green eyes were narrowed, ears pressed flat against her head. Mouth parted as she panted, Minnowstreak eyed the river as she drew closer to it. Pushing herself to her max for one more moment, she then began to slow, eventually skidding to a halt at the river's edge. Despite the nice weather, the RiverClan she-cat was not in the mood for a swim. Not right now, at least.
Chest heaving as her heart beat slowed, the she-cat took the time to look around, truly noticing her surroundings for the first time. Minnowstreak stood by a river, full of fish with sunlight glinting off their scales, basically asking to be caught. Running had put the shy she-cat in a good mood, however, and she did not feel like hunting, feeling instead the strange urge to find a cat to talk to. Glancing around, the warrior saw no one and the scents were stale. However, her tracking skills could definately be improved and she did not trust them very much.
Deciding she might as well run again, Minnowstreak turned, green eyes watching the ground. Tensing her muscles in preparation, she took a few steps, about to speed up when she caught a shadow out of the corner of her eye. A gray head whipped up, green eyes wide, and she lost her balance, falling to the side, tail lashing through the air as she tried to steady herself. However, her attempts were unsuccessful, as she fell on her side, the air knocked out of her.
