Darkclaw paced the ground in the darkest part of the forest, that was where he had marked as his own. It was still daytime in the living world, and that made it too hard to get into his son's mind. He hissed in irritation. It seemed now, his son was starting to do things on his own, starting to not listen to him.. Oh no He would have none of that. He growled to himself, his pelt seeming to grab at the shadows and disappear in the darkness. His red tinted silver eyes were nothing but slits, which made no sense in contrast to the light. His son still thought he was in starclan, Foolish kit, to believe a cat like me would be allowed in a place like that! he thought darkly. "TIme seems forever here, I'm sick of hunting bony prey with no meat on it, I'm tired of the salty water. I want to be back in the world of the living. Within their dreams I can eat my fill! I can taste clear water." He purred evilly as he remembered how he had tricked the cats of this place into teaching him how to communicate with his sons world. He didnt realize how gullible cats really could be. It had been several days now since he had seen another face in this place of darkness, and he was starting to miss having something to outsmart... |

A pitch black male cat had been walking around in the place of no stars and he had been there for a while. He saw darkclaw and decided what he was doing since he was friends with him. Hey Darkclaw, what are you up to? He said. Now this cat had never tricked him or anything. Shade was no fool and knew a lot more than this warrior. |

Darkclaw looked over at the tom as he approached. His eyes narrowed. "Nothing different than any other day" He retorted his gaze flashing back over to look into the puddle of water beside his feet. It was too risky to visit his son in the daylight hours, so he would need to wait till night. That however seemed like eons when you live in total blackness. "The living ones are suffering," He mused with little sympathy, his gaze shifting back to his friend. He loved to watch the cats below scurry like ants and face battles, blood and chaos. It made him feel... happy and alive.

Shade snickered. Thinking evil like always, eh. he thought and then walked around darkclaw. Who taught you everything? I did and you can't screw anything up either or the clans will find out. I know you hate them but we have to be careful. Anyways I found a old friend who knows a rouge who can get into Riverclan. If she succeeds then we can start. he said. |

Darkclaw smiled evily "Good, a shecat at our control and my son, It's all falling into place," His purr was dark and sounded more like rattling bones then comforting rumbles. He eyed his friend skepticly with his red-silver eyes "Do you think I'm mousebrained? I wont make mistakes. I've been plotting this for too long to mess it up now." his eyes looked away and he shifted to talking more to himself then Shade, "Blackthunder has been my minion for so long, since he was an apprentice in another clan. He trusts me too much, depends on me too much to turn on me. I'm amazed how I fathered a fool. But then again his sister is the clever one, which is why her mind is still out of my reach."

The dark male thought and then a idea popped into his head and he smiled. Howabout I try and get into her mind? He asked his friend, his ally. He looked around and there was nothing good to look at. |

Darkclaw's eyes glowed. "Hmm, that might work" he mewed his mind deep in thought. "Spiderlilly is clever though, It'd be a challenge" If only we could get to her then we could succeed. She was twice the cat of her brother who was blinded by his own ambition.

Shade looked at him and then looked at the water, The clans were happy to be there. He quickly spotted Spiderlilly and Blackthunder but then looked at Darkclaw. They look exactly like you. He said to Darkclaw. [OOC: Kissa.] |

Darkclaw felt his fur prickle in pride at Shade's words. He peered down into the pool to watch his kin below. His eyes caught sight of a scrap of fur which flashed quickly and his eyes lit up in interest. His newest kin, Darkkit. His daughter had named her brother's kit after him, her father. "Starclan are already punishing the cats, the prey is scarce. Thats the perfect time to create chaos, because the claws of all four clans are already begging to clash"

A movement went quickly by a shade saw it but didn't know if anyone was there. He quickly turned around to see green eyes staring at him but he didn't know who. Then the cat pounced on shade and started laughing. Lightningstrike! He said angerly pushing her off of him. Aww did i Surprise you? I'm sorry She said jokingly and then looked at Darkclaw. I have a feeling that you still haven't moved away from getting into your daughter's mind. Anyways, I've been in contact with a Riverclan warrior She said with a smile on her face. |

Darkclaw nodded to the newcomer and rolled his eyes. "Of course I'm still after her, why shouldn't I be?" His eyes narrowed a bit. A riverclan warrior. He would never have imagined the clan that would be most easily turned would be riverclan... He had always figured that Shadowclan, or maybe even thunderclan... but hey whos being picky? "We have a lot of influence in Riverclan then" He mused with a wicked smile. He admired Lightningstrike a moment for startling Shade.

Lightningstrike moved around and looked into the water, She closed her eyes and then opened them. A Riverclan warrior stood by her. Lightningstike? Fangshatter asked smiling. Yes Fang, It is I. I would like you to meet Shade, and you already know darkclaw from when you were an apprentice she said. Fangshatter nodded and looked around. |

Darkclaw nodded to the warrior's image in the water. If only his son could be reached in this way, but alas it would do no good anyways he was hunting. "How are things in riverclan? He asked curiously. He was always smart with his approach toward any cat he knew little about. He shifted his weight and glanced around at the others.
