Sunnypaw stretched, blinking through her sleepy fog. She poked her head out of the apprentice den, hiding her eyes from the sun; she had overslept. Again. Slinking out into the center of camp, she yawned.
Her muscles kept tense, and she was ready to jump to defense when her mentor yelled at her for not waking up on time. She winced everytime she heard something, though nothing was directed at her. She let out a sigh of releif, and sat there grooming her fur. Sunnypaw decided she was going to do that until someone grumbled at her about getting to work.

ooc;; Don't mind if I bud in here. o3o
Duskpaw felt sunlight seep into his fur as the morning fog drifted into the apprentices' den. Though before he began his debate on wether to wake up or not, he heard a shuffling nose sound from a few ways across the den, and the still-unfamiliar scent of Sunnypaw met his nostrils. He was still new in the Clan, still being looked down on, still being treated badly. He didn't mind that much, but he couldn't help but feel that he didn't belong here.
Yawning, he decided to climb out of his nest and emerge from the den, too shy and nervous to say "good morning" to Sunnypaw on the way out. Instead, he just happened to stumble upon one of the many cats he feared. Shadowclaw. "You rogue, shouldn't you be doing something useful? After all," he growled impatiently, "ThunderClan were the ones who took you in."/b] Duskpaw only stared down at his paws, his ears lying flat against his skull, too scared to reply.

Wildpaw scrambled out of the apprentice den, glad to feel the warm sunlight soaking on his cream tabby fur. However, his good mood changed when he saw Shadeclaw starting to bully Duskpaw, the newest apprentice in ThunderClan. "Hey Shadeclaw! Leave Duskpaw alone, he just woke up!" Wildpaw said calmly to the black tom as he came over to stand besides the younger apprentice.
"I see you're late getting up," Rapidstream told Sunnypaw as he walked over to his apprentice, raising an eyebrow at him.

Shadeclaw swung his head around to face Wildpaw; the most annoying, nosy and mouse-brained apprentice in the entire Clan. "Well, at least this little runt knows when to keep his mouth shut," he retorted, the fur along his necl bristling. "Why don't you just go change the elders' nests, eh?" he grunted, lips drawing back in the beginnings of a snarl.
Though Duskpaw appreciated the help of Wildpaw, he wasn't about to watch him get torn apart. Quickly, he scrambled to his paws and nudged Wildpaw in the shoulder with his nose, leading him off to the elders' den. "What are you doing? Just leave me alone, he'll go away if I don't say anything," he muttered to Wildpaw as they reached the edlers' den.

"Good morning," she mewed politely to Duskpaw as he walked out of the den after her. Sunnypaw didn't know him that much, but hey, being nice doesn't hurt anything, does it? She turned and heard Shadowclaw, glaring at him. "Shut up, fox-heart! He's not a rogue if he's in Thunderclan. Besides, he's not different because of where he comes from," she said sharply, defending the apprentice.
She turned to her mentor, ears pinned against her head. "I'm sorry, Rapidstream. I'll make up for it later," she promised. She hissed at Shadowclaw. "Stop being so insulting!" the mainecoon exclaimed loudly.

Duskpaw suddenly pricked his ears as he heard Sunnypaw's angry hiss sound from behind him, and he turned to see her facing Shadeclaw with an angry expression on her face. "Why are you defending me?" he whispered to himself, so quietly in fact that no one else could hear him.
Shadeclaw glared down at Sunnypaw, annoyed that so many apprentices were pestering him, and he leaned down so his eyes were level with hers. "He's a rogue if I found him by the Twolegplace border with the scent of crow-food on his pelt. And you shouldn't disrespect your higher-ranked warriors, you little mouse!" he growled in a low voice, so Rapidstream wouldn't hear him. Though he was beginning to get overwhelmed by all of the nuisances around him, and without another word he whisked around and retreated into the warriors' den.s

Sunnypaw's pelt bristled. She stood up straight and at her full height. She looked almost like a young warrior, since she was a larger-sized apprentice. Her tail lashed slowly behind her. "I wouldn't treat you with respect if it was the only thing to keep me alive! And wait- what did you just call me!?" she almost snarled in a low voice. When Sunnypaw was annoyed, she was serious. She whacked Shadeclaw lightly across the nose. "Call me a mouse again and see what happens."

Wildpaw whispeared in Duskpaw's ear as he lowered his voice, "Shadeclaw shouldn't treat you like that because its wrong. You're an apprentice like me, and we should always help each other, not bully each other." the cream tabby gave Shadeclaw a hard green glare, then gasped as Sunnypaw wacked him to the face!
"Sunnypaw!" Rapidstream meowed, sounding shock. "we do not hit our clanmates! Alopjuzes right now?" the deputy said, anger burning in his green-bleu eyes.

Shadeclaw hissed in surprise as he felt a paw ram into his nose, and he took a step backwards and spat in slight pain. "If you keep this up, you'll never recieve your warrior name!" he snarled, his lips now fully drawn back in a menacing snarl. Apprentices were really not Shadeclaw's favorite cats.
Still growling, he whirled around and stormed off toward the camp entrance, not wanting to hear any more annoying voices in his ears. Meanwhile, Duskpaw only stared at his paws. "What ever, I'll just have to get used to it.." he mumbled, though he perked his ears when an angry hiss sounded from Shadeclaw. He looked up just in time to see tha massive black tom trudge off through the gorse tunnel, his long tail flicking in fury before it vanished into the green depths of the brambles and ferns.

Sunnypaw turned back to her mentor, eyes full of anger. "I'm sorry but I'm not apoligizing to that peice of crow-food. He called Duskpaw a rogue and a runt and I don't like cats that make fun of others," she said, voice softening a little since it was her mentor. The she-cat looked at Duskpaw. "Nuh-uh. I'm sick of Shadeclaw and I'm not going to let him bother apprentices anymore," she said kindly. The mainecoon was really getting sick of the black warrior.

Leafwhisper herd something when he walked into camp. He had just been out on a hunt and had five mice in his jaws. He placed them in the Fresh-kill pile and saw the little crowd. Good morning everyone He said raspy. His throat was healing and now and then, his voice would crack.

Sunnypaw whirled around swiftly, letting out a sigh of relief when she saw it wasn't Shadeclaw. That stupid furball.. she thought, then looked at Leafwhisper smiling. "Good morning! Had some luck hunting, did you?" she said distractedly, looking at the prey he had dropped. She flicked her tail, ready to train but trying to be polite.

Duskpaw watched in confusion as Sunnypaw continued to defend him. Why? Shadeclaw was right; he was just a dirty rogue. A dirty rogue with no Clan blood, who was worthless. Head hanging low, he mumbled, "Thanks for sticking up for me.." to Sunnypaw before turning and retreating into the apprentices' den. He curled up in his nest; which was farthest from everyone elses', and curled his tail around his nose. Why did they even take him in? If they knew how pathetic he was, maybe they could've left him to starve in that log, or better, put him out of his misery. Duskpaw didn't want to live while his father haunted him in his dreams. Maybe he should just leave the Clan, or kill himself. It wouldn't be that hard anyway. Not that anyone would miss him.
ooc;; Fawnzie, did we decide that Duskpaw and Sunnypaw would be mates? I forgot. owo

"Anytime," she told Duskpaw. Sunnypaw glanced after him as he went into the apprentices' den looking deflated. She frowned; Sunnypaw didn't like other cats being upset. She looked back at Leafwhisper, giving him a apolegetic look that said "sorry you didn't get to answer that question". Then she turned around and bounded into the apprentices' den, blinking as she got used to the darker lighting.
Walking up to the other apprentice, who was curled up in his nest, she flicked her tail. Nudging his shoulder, Sunnypaw asked, "Are you okay?"
OOC: Sunnypaw and Scorpianpaw are gonna be mates... maybe she could be close friends with Duskpaw?

Scorpionpaw was in his nest and herd the talking. He didn't move but the nightmare's were getting worst each night adding on more pain to him. Why? Why can I never wake up? He thought and started to toss.
