Waking up [open]

Scopionpaw looked at her and just kept purring. She is so wonderful he thought. He wanted this to last and everything but would it? When he herd what she said he looked at her. Your beautiful He said back to her and licked her cheeck and then nudged her.

"Thank you," Sunnypaw said, then continuing to purr. She was happy he wasn't surprised by her sudden statement. She licked his ear, then looked at him. "But..." The she-cat started to say. "If we became mates, don't you think Hawkstar would be mad? She inquired, concerned.

The tom looked at her. Hawkstar, mad at us? Look at the whole clan, there's Leafwhisper with cloudpaw and he doesn't care. He said trying to get her not to back out. If hawkstar says anything, then I'll say something myself.he thought.

^{"I guess... but still. I don't know if the rest of the clan would like the fact that we're mates," She said, shifting her paws uncomfortably. Sunnypaw flicked her tail onto the tom's shoulders, still worried about how the clan would react. She licked his cheek, knowing that she liked him too much to back out; but she was still nervous.}

Sunnypaw, we will be together forever. I promise you, no one will stop us and If there is any danger, I'll protect you He said to her trying to comfort her. This promise will stick and it won't go horrible he thought

"I know we're going to be together forever, I'm just nervous about it. If you haven't notice, I haven't done this before," She teased, nudging his shoulder lightly. "Scorpionpaw, thanks for the comfort, though," Sunnypaw said gratefully, then realization hit. "We're supposed to be hunting! If we just dissappear for hours Hawkstar's going to want to know what we were doing."

It was true, they were supposed to be hunting. I know, this is my first time too. he said. Now lets hunt! He said excitedly. He looked around and he could hear the chipmunks, squirrels and mice. Over there, three squirrels he said pointing with his tail.

"Then you go get your squirrels. I want to find my own prey to hunt!" After teasing Scorpionpaw, she looked around to find something. Sunnypaw went bounding off, the sounds in the forest making her ears twitch. She opened her jaw, trying to scent something. The faint smell of a robin came from above, and she lifted her head to look at it. Claws digging into a tree's bark, she climbed up after the dull-colored bird.

Sunnypaw knew she didn't have very much time before the robin noticed her and flew off. So she pulled her tail up of the branch she sat on; making sure she wouldn't rustle any leaves. She crept towards it, and the bird chirped slightly. She then ran towards it, snapping it's neck to kill the robin. One of her paws slipped suddenly, knocking her off guard. She scrabbled on the branch, trying to get a better hold on it.

The male apprentice looked at her and then went towards the squirrels. He walked quietly, not to step on any sticks. When he got close enough, he bolted towards them. One ran and the other two weren't paying attention. He killed the two quickly with his claws and looked for the other one but it was gone.

While Scorpionpaw hunted, Sunnypaw was still struggling. She was unbalanced on the branch, wobbling while she struggled to regain her footing. Though the surface of the branch was slippery, and her claws just skidded on it. Spitting the robin out of her mouth, she watched, scared, as it fell. The same thing could happen to me if I can't regain my balance, the orange cat thought, wide eyed. "S-scor-Scorpionpaw!" She yowled, and almost slid off of the branch, but caught herself with her front paw.

Scorpionpaw walked over to where they were standing and then dropped the prey and buried it. Then he herd his name, he looked around and saw Sunnypaw in the tree. He immediately ran to the tree and climbed up it but he was hanging on the side of the tree. Sunnypaw, im here, now can you back up alittle? He asked.

Sunnypaw breathed out a sigh of releif. Thank Starclan. Though as soon as she thought that she took it back. Even when she was about to fall, she managed to roll her eyes. "Mousebrain! I'm about to fall out of the tree and you're asking me to move down?" She said, then tried to finish pulling herself up onto the branch.

Scorpionpaw got onto the branch and leaned down and grabbed her scruff. He moved over and then let her grab the tree. He let her go and then felt light headed, he closed his eyes and was ready to go backwards but caught himself. He then went on the tree and slid off.

Sunnypaw was filled with gratitude as the tom grabbed her scruff and pulled her up. She clung to the tree, then slid hurridly down it after Scorpionpaw, not wanting to slip again. She nuzzled her mate, purring gratefully. "Thank you so much Scorpionpaw," she murmured, flicking her tail.

Scorpionpaw looked at her and nodded Anytime, sunnypaw He said and licked her cheek. We look after eachother. he said softly. He went to walk and then stumbled and fell to the ground. The apprentice got back up like nothing happened.
