Smoke and Frost [Thunder] [closed]

Smokesight walked side by side with Frostcloud, enjoying the feeling of her pelt brushing against his. She had said she needed to tell him something, and the anticipation was killing him. What could it be? I hope everything's alright! he thought to himself, but the way here eyes were glowing it couldnt be anything too bad. He waited for her to speak at first, but then his mouth got bored waiting. "What is it? I cant take the wait!" He purred giving her cheek a soft lick.

Frostcloud laughed at how impatient he was. She shook her head, wanting to make him wait longer, but it had been hard enough for her to hold it in this long. The moment she had found out she wanted to find him, pounce on him and scream out for all starclan to hear the news. WHen he licked her cheek she gave a huge rattling purr and decided now was a good time to tell him, this moment. This spot just felt right. "Smokesight, I'm going to have your kits" Her eyes were shinning. They had both wanted kits for a long time, and the realization that kits were actually going to come made her heart sore. She had been born to be a queen, in her mind. SHe was no great fighter, she loved to be gentle and caring. She imagined what they might look like. Handsome and ginger like their father,? gray like her? Tortoiseshell as her mother had been? Only starclan knew now. She touched her nose to his cheek and settled herself tucked in front of him with the top of her head resting under his chin.

"I'm going to be a daddy?!" Smokesight held himself back from tackling her to the ground. He covered her face with licks and his body rumbled in a deep purr. He purred so loud it hurt his throat. He was finally going to be a father, his kits! His beautiful kits were going to soon occupy the nursery! "When did you find out? How many? Oh Frostcloud I'm so excited! They're going to be beautiful just like you!" He purred even louder and wound his tail with hers. WHen she tucked her head under his chin he gave her a few loving licks atop the head.

"I dont know how many! she laughed batting his ear with her paw, "Stupid furball She smiled at the compliment of being beautiful. He always had this way of making her feel ...perfect. She rapped herself around his body, then swung her leg under his paws to trip him. She licked his cheek afterwords saying no hard feelings for falling. Her blue-violate eyes looked loveingly down at him.

Smokesight looked seriously down at her. "Now I dont want you getting into any trouble! You need to stay extra safe now! No Border patrols... or Gatherings... or leaving camp... or moving... or breathing!" he twitched his whiskers in amusement, but the look in his eyes said he was serious about her being careful. He didnt want anything to happen to her, and he hoped she knew that if the oppertunity arose he would die to protect her. She was everything to him. He pushed her off of him and rubbed his face against hers.

Frostcloud gave a loud purr and playfully batted him across the face. "I'm not going to sit around and do nothing till theyre born! You're just going to have to live with me leaving camp." She had a hard time hiding how happy she was to be carrying kits, his kits. It still sent giddy shutters through her body, and she had a hard time convincing herself that everything which seemed so perfect was real and not a dream.

Smokesight shook his head and purred even louder. "Lets get back to camp now, you should get some food in you to feed our kits!" his eyes gleemed.
