Spottedpelt flicked her ear, aknowledging Wolfjaw's presense when he padded up beside her. She found a new way to toy with him, and she purposely avoided his gaze, as if she were making him work for it. Her eyes flicked to the sky, then back at the ground before her. She smiled slightly when he nudged her in the shoulder, and to mess with the tom even more, she quickly turned to look into his golden eyes for a heartbeat, before turning them away again.
Grining, she narrowed her eyes as if saying, "You'll never beat me!". Tensing her muscles, she shot off through the mostly-open undergrowth, since ShadowClan's territory only consisted of marshy land and a few bushes and trees here and there. The moonlight shimmered on her calico-white fur, and a playful gleam shone in her eyes as they reflected the moonlight. Spottedpelt's heart was pounding against her chest by now, and she cast a brief glance over his shoulder to see how far behind Wolfjaw was.

Wolfjaw growled playfully as he kept his pace a length behind her. He lifted his head, embracing the wind blowing through his thick gray fur. He pounded his paws harder into the ground, trying to catch up to her, but it seemed being smaller had its advantages at the moment. His jaw hurt from the tight grip he kept on the food so not to have it slip out of his jaws. The mouse's tail snapped within his jaws and he let out a hiss of frustration as the mouse fell beneath his out stretched paw sending him toppling forward. He whipped around to grab it up again, embarrassed and charged after her at full stride until he was right next to her. He could just see the entrance to camp ahead. Purring with enjoyment he lengthened his stride, hoping to pull ahead at the last moment.

As Spottedpelt ran on, she was surprised to see Wolfjaw beside her in a matter of seconds. Narrowing her eyes, she stuck out her tongue and pushed her legs to run faster. The camp entrance was nearing, and the two were both very close to being winners. Though, in the end, Spottedpelt gave herself one last burst of energy, and she stopped abruptly at the tunnel of brambles that led into camp.
"Aw, I'm sorry, did you think I'd go easy on you?" she taunted, flicking Wolfjaw's ear with her long, bushy tail. Her eyes sparkled with mischief, and the moon was just beginning to climb down after holding itself up in the night sky for so long. To her surprise though, Spottedpelt had very much enjoyed the night, and then the feeling of want came back to her.

"You dont seem like the kind of cat who goes easy on anyone." He retorted with a playful growl just after placing his prey down so he could catch his breath. "Oh course, I let you win, what a gentlemen I am!" His eyes dazzled and a troublesome grin spread across his face. This had defiantly been one of his favorite nights of all time. Spottedpelt just was...fun. Her sharp tongue and the way he could joke around with her. He blinked and then looked over at the entrance they were standing outside. "So, shall we go share some breakfast then?" He purred. He was a little hungry from hunting all night, just a wee bit. He glanced over at the moon disappearing into the trees on the horizon. It wouldnt be long now before the sun broke into the shy. He could already see the darkness getting ligher to the east.

ooc;; Don't have my templates right now. o3o
Spottedpelt let out an amused purr and flicked Wolfjaw's nose with her tail. "Hm, but if you were a gentleman, then wouldn't have gone hunting with you," she grinned, taking a step forward so she was barely nose to nose with the large, gray tom. Standing her ground for a heartbeat longer, the calico she-cat breathed in Wolfjaw's somehow familiar, warm scent.
Spottedpelt had never felt this way about anyone, specially not toward a tom. But now, as she stood beside Wolfjaw, she had no plans of resisting her sudden feelings. She actually enjoyed feeling warm under her pelt, and the relaxing, prickling sensation in her paws. However, she knew that she could toy with Wolfjaw without making things feel strange, because she knew that he felt the same way about her. Though while she felt confident in this statement, a small piece of her mind doubted herself, doubting that Wolfjaw was only trying to be friends. But thoughts like these discouraged her, and Spottedpelt went back to her happy thoughts.
"Obviously, you fur-ball!" she snapped, silver-gray eyes sparkling in amusement and happiness. As she turned to enter the camp entrance, she cast a mischievious glance over her shoulder at Wolfjaw. "Are you still up to it?" she taunted flirtatiously, giving him a wink before vanishing through the brambles and into camp.

Wolfjaw followed her into camp, his yellow eyes shinning. The sun was just breaking the horizon when he placed his kill in the fresh kill pile. The first prey of the day caught. He kept the mouse he had caught and decided that it would be enough for him to eat for now.
He brushed against her as he settled down to eat. He waited for her to select her pray and come over to him before he took a single bite. After all, there was no need to rush spending more time with her. She fascinated him, since she was far from easy to read. Now at lease he could tell she enjoyed his company, otherwise she would have made up some excuse to leave.
"You are something else," he mused with mischief in his eyes. Something about her made him feel warm from nose to tail tip when she was close. It was as if she woke up a part of him that otherwise hid sleeping within his soul. It was strange, all of this 'feeling' stuff he was experiencing. Usually he was a go with the flow sort of cat who didnt really pay attention to love, or romance or anything really besides taking care of his clan. Spottedpelt, however, had this way of making him forget that there was anyone else in the forest but her and him.
