Shadehawk stopped walking to. His eyes locked in with the she-cats and he listened to her as she spoke. She missed her father so much. He caught that. He understood that. When the she-cat touched her nose into his pelt his heart melted all together. He stopped moving completely and just stayed silent. He didn't want to bring himself into this by saying he knew how he felt. That just wouldn't have been good. this moment was all about her. No one else. Just her. He touched his tail gently to her shoulder in a comforting matter. It could only get better.
"Of course you do, it wouldn't be right if you didn't Hazelbrook. The best thing you can do is look at Silverpelt and know that he watches you every night to make sure you are doing your best." Shadehakw mewed. He then brought his tounge softly between her ears."It's okay to miss someone, but don't mourn over them. Your father wouldn't want that, He would want you to be happy. In fact I am 100% sure he is proud to see that his daughter is the friendliest most loved cat in Thunderclan, and a good warrior on top of that."

Hazalbrook sniffled, inwardly disappointed at herself for breaking down like this. Shadehawk probably didn't want her to be looking for comfort from him. She took a shaky breath in, and listened quietly as Shadehawk spoke to her in a gentle voice.
Hazelbrook knew that Stonebrook always watched over her, but that was even worse because she was able to see him every night but not be able to be with him in StarClan. But at this moment, she wouldn't want to leave Shadehawk's warm, comforting fur, so she just stood still. She felt Shadehawk's rough, warm tongue rasp across the top of her head. The feeling made her whiskers quiver, and her fur prickle all over. That one single action seemed to have relaxed her entire body, and her shaky breathing returned to normal.
Shadehawk's words reached her heart easily, and Hazelbrook realized he was right. Stonebrook wouldn't want to see her in distress. The part where he called her "the most loved cat in ThunderCla" especially cheered her up. But even though she was already calm, she didn't move away from Shadehawk. Instead, she looked up at him with wide, sparkling eyes. "Thank you, Shadehawk," she meowed softly.
Reluctantly she started to walk again, but this time she pressed against Shadehawk's larger body. She hoped that he didn't mind. It was just that he felt so warm, and safe when she was with him, and it made her feel so much better. A pain in her paw reminded her though that they had to get back to camp soon, and treat hers and Shadehawk's injuries.
