He stopped and looked at both of them. Why did cloudpaw want me to come? he thought. Leafwhisper was a little confused but when he looked at her, he noticed something different, her stomach was round like... Is she Pregnant?! He thought with wide eyes. So who is going to start? he asked looking at hawkstar getting that thought off his mind.

Hawkstar thought he saw a tiny hint of shock on Leafwhisper's face, but then pushed the thought out of his mind as quickly as it had came. Sighing, he gestured with his tail for Cloudpaw to stand at one end of the hollow, and then did the same for Leafwhisper but in the opposite direction, so they could face each other.
"Alright, Cloudpaw, I want you to come at Leafwhisper," he instructed, keeping one eye on Cloudpaw and the other on the younger warrior. "Leafwhisper, I expect you to go easy on her, after all," he meowed in a low voice, so only Leafwhisper could hear him. "she is only an apprentice." Hawkstar said nothing more and instead, gave a slight nod as a signal for them to begin the training.

Cloudpaw was watching Leafwhisper as he stared at her. Really what was so fascinating about her? She was just an ordinary cat, nothing extraordinary about her. But he was looking at her like her best friend had used to look at her. With those weird eyes. Shrugging it off, the she-cat began to pay attention to Hawkstar.
Nodding, she followed instructions and sat in the spot his tail had pointed. Waiting patiently for the next set of instructions, her tail was twitching in excitement. This was her favorite, so much better than hunting! She may have not heard what Hawkstar had said to Leafwhisper, but she was determined to prove she could do this. "Don't worry, I'll win this before he can even blink."
Cloudpaw said cockily. She waited for the signal and soon she bounded off, her eyes were concentrated on tackling the tom. Charging at Leafwhisper, she felt so light. She felt the extra weight on her body, yes, but the adrenaline was pumping and she was ready for this. She lept into the air and extended her paw, in an attempt to hook herself onto the tom's back.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

After hearing Hawkstar, he ducked and then rolled out of the way. Cloudpaw, you got to be quicker than that to get me! He said with a chuckle as she landed behind him but what he didn't know was that she was already making her next move that he didn't know about.

Cloudpaw skidded as she missed Leafwhisper, scolding herself for doing so. Stupid kits, they were making her slower. Forget about them she thought to herself. She had more important things to do. Kits could wait, they would have her for long enough, it was her time now.
She had to be quicker, huh? Grinning the she-cat liked that, it was a challenge. Digging in her claws to stop her from falling/tripping, she used them to change directions so that she could strike again. Cloudpaw managed to jump onto his back this time, trying to pin him down. Unfortunately for her, she still wasn't full grown, and was smaller.
"How's that?"
she asked smirking.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

As the pain in his back flowed through the tom, he smiled. The bruise still hurt him. Smart he thought. That was good, but I herd you change your direction and I could of easily ducked He said looking at her with a smile

Getting off his back, Cloudpaw smiled. She was enjoying her training again. Ever since her best friend had died, Cloudpaw had been lacking a partner to spar with, someone who could keep up with her energy. It seemed she had finally found someone, and with a mouth almost as smart as hers.
"Well if you heard me so easily why didn't you duck? Surely someone as strong and handsome like you could outwit an apprentice."
Cloudpaw was having fun, bantering with the warrior.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

He turned around and then listened to what she was saying. The reason why I didn't duck is because some opponents wouldn't have known. So Beautiful, You think i'm handsome? He said to her. His eyes gleaming into her's. He walked up beside her and whispered in her ear Kits are a good thing to have, don't worry, I'll protect you no matter what happens

Cloudpaw had not realized what she had said until Leafwhisper had called her beautiful. She blinked her blue eyes at him, speechless. He thought she was beautiful? No, her sister was the beautiful one, she was just second best. But what he had said before that was making sense to her. She still was proud of herself. She opened her mouth to speak again, but nothing came out, she just looked to her paws. How embarrassing it was to blurt something out without realizing.
When he came closer, Cloudpaw practically froze up. She wasn't used to having a tom so close, especially one like Leafwhisper. Did he just mention her kits? And that he would protect her? Looking at him she gawked. "B-but how did you know?"
she managed to stutter out. Soon her mind stopped being cloudy and she scoffed, putting back on her tough exterior. "I can take care of myself, I don't need protecting. I don't need to rely on anyone and I don't want to drag you into this." Cloudpaw said, her voice becoming slightly louder with each word.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

When Cloudpaw said that, it hurt him, all he wanted to do was help the apprentice. I know because of your stomach, how round it is. Plus Cloudpaw, If you knew what I ment by Protecting you, What I ment to say was that I want to be with you because ever since I saw you, I knew you were the one for me. Anyways, I don't care if I get dragged into this because I want to get dragged into this He said. There its out, Now she is going to hate me, he thought with a sigh.

Cloudpaw felt a little bad when she saw the hurt look in the tom's eyes. She didn't mean to come off so harsh, but it was to cover up her own pain. Being harsh is how she dealt with life. Well, at least that was one less cat to tell her secret to. And he wasn't angry with her. Maybe Hawkstar was right, maybe she wouldn't be shunned.
He wanted this? He wanted to be a father to her kits? Her eyes shifted to StarClan, would Bramblepaw mind? She could have sworn she felt his presence for a moment. So he was okay with this? The white apprentice let out a huge sigh. "Please don't tell anyone. I'm not ready to let the whole clan know. Only you and Hawkstar know, and I would like to keep it that way."
Cloudpaw mewed softly. "Well, I guess I don't mind. The kits do need a father..." She murmured. Sure there was an age gap between the two, but did it really matter? Bramblepaw had been her best friend, but they never truly became mates. How could she be falling for another tom so quickly? Was this Bramblepaw's doing? Most likely, he was trying to look out for her. "Just please don't leave me alone. I've already lost too much." she whispered. First her sister, then her mother, then Bramblepaw...it was a lot for such a young cat. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Leafwhisper felt bad for Cloudpaw. Both of them had lost someone they loved. Now he needed to keep the secret. He nodded to her and had a small smile.Your secret is safe with me, Plus for this moment on, I will stay by your side. Im sure Hawkstar will understand. He said.

Hawkstar watched in suspicion as Leafwhisper began to murmur in low whispers to Cloudpaw, and apprehension began to crawl through his fur. What were they talking about that he wasn't supposed to hear? "Ahem, and I assume you two expect me to just sit here while you share secrets?" he meowed, his eyes narrowed in a frown. Hawkstar had a feeling that he wasn't the only one who found out about Cloudpaw's kits. But why Leafwhisper? Surely she could trust someone else to tell, like Ravenleap?

Cloudpaw couldn't help but grin. There was tom in her life who actually wanted to be by her side. Her blue eyes were sparkling in excitement. Maybe things would start going her way. He was going to be there with her, and she didn't mind. Was she going soft? No, she couldn't have that. "Thank you. For keeping my secret, I mean. And well...for everything else."
Cloudpaw was pretty much blushing by this point. Her tail was twitching in anticipation. She jumped at Hawkstar's voice, almost forgetting about him for a moment. "Sorry, Hawkstar, I got distracted." she mewed, looking down, feeling a little ashamed. "But he knows, he figured it out and...yeah." she added in a quieter voice. "But did you see my moves? They were awesome right?" she asked, the grin returning, though this time it was a bit more sly.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Hawkstar almost hissed in shock when Cloudpaw revealed that Leafwhisper knew about her kits, and he dug his claws into the ground to keep himself from lunging at the older tom. "What? What happened to not telling anyone?" he spat, his eyes wide in apprehension as he cast a glance at Leafwhisper. "How do we know we can trust him?" he blurted out quietly, though he instantly regret saying that. A leader should never doubt his Clan mates, even if they've done bad things in the past, which isn't true with Leafwhisper though. Still, Hawkstar couldn't help but feel that more of his warriors would start to look strangely at his apprentice.
